Kwong Wah PJ Sec 17

After reading this news article about ABC in Jan 2018, we finally made it there recently. ABC on the left and Cendol on the right. MYR 5.50 nett each.

Add on another cendol without any "gula melaka" (coconut palm sugar) because the previous two bowls of ice were too sweet for us. So we mix them together to lessen the sweetness. We will visit here to eat these ice again.

Prepacked mee siam - MYR 3 nett.

Yam Cake - MYR 2.80 nett.

Seri muka and kuih talam.

Top (Left to Right): Bingka Ubi, Pulut Panggang. Bottom (Left to Right): Jicama (Yam Bean) Dumpling, Angku

The Jicama is cut thickly and the skin of the dumpling is thick and soft.

The glutinous rice of the pulut panggang is soft and chewy. The coconut filling is more sweet than spicy.

The angku is filled with a lot of mung bean paste.

Each packet of kuih costs MYR 2.80 nett for all the kuihs. The Cendol without sugar is printed on another receipt.

The glass cabinet with all the kuih and buns. The ice bowls are prepared in the small stall in front of this eatery.

From one shop lot, they have now expanded to two shop lots to accommodate more seats.

It used to be just the shop lot on the left with the ice stall in front. Lucky for us, with another shop lot there are more seats available without having to queue and wait for seats. Happy Mansion at PJ now has many nice eateries. I have been to three: Frame Thai, Food Foundry, Butter and Beans.

    1. ABC stands for Ais (ice) Batu (stone) Campur (Mix). "Ais Batu" is one word meaning Ice Cubes.

    1. Have you been to Happy Mansion? There are always available parking spaces there whenever I go that I also wonder why the residents there got so few cars parked there.
