The others that I have eaten before such as La La (clam) mee hoon clear soup for MYR 14.20 nett and Prawns mee hoon clear soup with 3 prawns for MYR 18 nett could be eaten elsewhere at a better price. Their bursting balls though are still a favourite for pork meatballs lovers but since I am impartial to pork, I will only order it if my dining companions want to share the meatballs.
I like those where the soup tastes a bit sweet and flavourful, the soup base is important other than the fish must be fresh

DeleteI love fish mee hoon. The one I had in a coffee shop costs around RM9. With salted mustard, tomato and fish slices with coriander garnish. So good. Love the tasty, nourish soup.

DeleteI'm not a fish fan so would rather go for the bursting meat balls. Grouper is expensive so if you like it, no choice but to pay more.
