My friend was back from S.Korea and gave me two packs of this Choco Pie. They are sold here in supermarkets too.
Cut into halves - they are two biscuits sized cakes sandwiching a marshmallow layer between them and coated with chocolate. A popular snack in S.Korea it seems that originated from the USA. The marshmallow is very sweet so best eat this with black coffee.
Bet it is pricey, everything Korean here is rather expensive...but nothing's cheap there too. Hopefully, our dwindling ringgit will recover soon.
ReplyDeletesaw chocopie sold here under another brand in cold storage jaya but did not take note of the price.
DeleteNot a fan of this. Sweet, nay for me. Haha.
ReplyDeleteso no sweet tooth?
DeleteI have not tried this. If it is too sweet, then it is not for me.
ReplyDeletenibble a bit with black coffee.
DeleteMy sis brought the strawberry version back from Korea. Tastes almost the same as the usual chocolate ones.
ReplyDeleteyou like the marshmallow layer in the middle?
DeleteNo objections to it. This isn't something I'd purposely buy to eat for myself.
DeleteNot too sweet for you? The marshmallows?
DeleteI ate this in Seoul too and they are so common there with their folks. I agree that black coffee is a must.
