New Eateries Sri Petaling

On Saturday 1.mar.2025, he read about a new eatery in Sri Petaling at the Overseas restaurant area that opened about one month called Teochew Cuisines Kopitiam Sri Petaling by Chan's Kitchen which is located next to KFC Sri Petaling so we went there for brunch after he has applied another can of blue water sealant paint to the cement car porch ceiling from about 8 am to 9 am.

It opens at 8 am and closes at 4 pm.

At 4 pm, the shop is a hotpot eatery called Starry Sky Marina Hotpot Sri Petaling.

They shared a physical shop.

10.26 am - his order: a mixed set of 3 dishes plus a choice of rice, congee or noodles:

He selected Single pax braised duck 7.6,

Blood cubes 3.6,

Braised tofu for me 3.6,

Small oil rice 2.5

Total MYR 17.30+

10.16 am - 2 braised eggs MYR 2 x 2 for me.

My cold cham MYR 4.6+ which is rich and thick, very refreshing 

His hot cham MYR 3.5+

10.22 am - he ordered this plate of ham sandwich MYR 7.8+ because it has a 👍 sign next to it 😂 

This ham sandwich is suitable for children to eat raw cucumbers and raw tomatoes because it puts a thin layer of sweet cheesy mayo on the bread and children mostly like sweet food. I was surprised that he could eat that sweet cheesy mayo and teased him about it which he retorted he drank his hot cham drink immediately after that to wash away the faint cheesy taste.

10.27 am - I ordered this small bowl of sour spicy mustard vegetables MYR 6+ which is soft and not spicy but is sour so is suitable for me.

10.43 am - I also ordered this plate of dry siew yuk wanton noodles MYR 13.80+ for both of us to share. The siew yuk skin is crispy.

10.52 am - my last mile to finish all the remaining food. I would prefer the egg and tofu to be less salty. Total MYR 61.55 nett.

1.40 pm ate one banana 🍌

Omad is completed at 2pm.

10.10 am - this is the shop, a corner shop behind or next to KFC.

11.10 am - big banner in front of the shop showing the braised food items.

11.12 am - saw this new coffee ☕ tiramisu cake shop called jotominute that opened 5 months ago in the same row of shops. Weekend opens at about 10 am.

11.14 am - this shafi shop is also a new shop that opened about one month ago. They offered free shawarmas during their grand opening without any conditions which I missed out.

Opens at 11 am.

He bought takeaway chapfan no rice from Golden chopstick coffee shop which is next to shafi for his early dinner.

11.16 am - saw this white 😺 🐈 with two different colored 👀 heterochromia on a leash outside this eatery. The owners must thought this 😺 🐈 is a 🐕 🐶
