Strawberry French Toast - MYR 19.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 21.90 nett). The whipped cream is not that heavy so it was not cloying. Not the best but acceptable as it was not too sweet and due to the fact that I cannot resist strawberries.
Looks the same!
Fruit Tea (Hot) = MYR 17.90+ (MYR 19.70 nett). They are famous for their coffee but both of us did not order any.
All the items on their menu can be fitted in to a single page. Please click on the above photo for a larger image.
We checked/ticked 3 items in the order chit but they left out 1 item when keying in our order into their system and we did not check the bill until after half an hour so we had to wait for another 15 mins for the pasta dish.
Chicken Cacciatora Spaghetti - MYR 23.90+ (MYR 26.30 nett). Quite a big portion so I ate a few bites from my friend's dish. The pasta is al dente. Taken from wiki: "Cacciatore means "hunter" in Italian. In cuisine, alla cacciatora refers to a meal prepared "hunter-style" with onions, herbs, usually tomatoes, often bell peppers, and sometimes wine".
Total bill for two pax.
A place to unwind and relax.
During lunch time there was a queue. I waited for a while but was allowed to go in (jump queue) as there was a two-pax table available and the people in front of me in the queue are all in groups of more than 2 pax. We may be back to try the other dishes and the coffee.
Yes, my girl saw it but no, she was not bothered to go and queue and check this place out.
ReplyDeleteWhen we left at about 2 pm, there was no queue.
DeleteSeasonal French toast. Hmm. Only for this month I guess. The colour of red.
ReplyDeleteLong queue. Not sure I would have patience to wait. Lol.
At certain times of the day when they are opened, there was no queue.
DeleteI love that long sofas and cozy interiors. Fruit tea is ideal to sip and chat for long hours too.
ReplyDeleteI miss Tim Ho Wan a lot as it brings memories of my father who enjoyed their food.
I miss them too as I also enjoyed their food.
DeleteIndeed the spaghetti portion looks big, I think I could not finish it all..
ReplyDeleteCan share with your children or friends.
DeleteThe interior looks very class and cozy
ReplyDeleteIt is. Good place for you and Jose buddy to relax and have a long chat. :)
DeleteMy sons cannot resist strawberries too, hehe!
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
DeleteI would love to try the fruit tea. Looks very refreshing.
ReplyDeleteIt is refreshing. Are you ok with sour drinks because it is a bit sour in taste.
DeleteThat strawberry french toast looks irresistible. The spaghetti looks really good too. I went to Tim Ho Wan just once and I am glad I did before they disappeared :)
ReplyDeleteYou like strawberries too? Glad you did before they were gone.
DeleteI wanted to try but haven't done so yet. Maybe after school holiday lah.
ReplyDeletethanks for dropping by. :)
DeleteIt's not 'jumping queue' since it's by number of pax in the group. :p
ReplyDeleteThis place must be famous from somewhere if there is such a queue.
Famous in Japan I think.
