Ko Hyang

Pa Jeon (Seafood pancake with spring onion) with Banchan (3 side dishes) at MYR14.9+ 6% GST (MYR15.80 nett) at Ko Hyang, the Gardens Mall. I like to eat this Korean pancake because it is crispy outside but soft yet chewy inside but I could not finish one on my own so I ended up taking half home as dinner because my lunch companion does not want to eat any pancake.

I did not take photo of the food my friend ordered. For two pax, the total bill is MYR35.40 nett.

  1. You are quite a small eater, I noticed. I can eat a lot for lunch as I know I have until evening to burn them off. Haha. Dinner I try to eat lesser.

  3. This pancake is similar to the type my mum makes, with kuchai and dried shrimp. I used to faint at the price hehe. Simple ingredients only mah.

  4. Never tried Korean pancake and by the looks of it ( drooling already), I think I want to try. Agreed with Stacy, so steep the price for something basic like this. I think I need to learn how to cook this myself.

    1. the flour is a special flour i believe because it is soft yet chewy a bit like glutinous rice.

  5. I love to eat at this particular outlet at MV. Their cooking is different from the other branch outlets. It used to be a tiny crammed space when they newly opened a few years ago but expanded a bit now. The feng shui must be good.

  14. Usually people order Korean pancake to be shared one, isn't it? I don't think I have ever seen anyone other than myself order a pancake as a meal for self. :/
