Pa Jeon (Seafood pancake with spring onion) with Banchan (3 side dishes) at MYR14.9+ 6% GST (MYR15.80 nett) at Ko Hyang, the Gardens Mall. I like to eat this Korean pancake because it is crispy outside but soft yet chewy inside but I could not finish one on my own so I ended up taking half home as dinner because my lunch companion does not want to eat any pancake.
I did not take photo of the food my friend ordered. For two pax, the total bill is MYR35.40 nett.
You are quite a small eater, I noticed. I can eat a lot for lunch as I know I have until evening to burn them off. Haha. Dinner I try to eat lesser.
ReplyDeletemy stomach acid will go bonkers if i eat a lot during lunch and eat very little during dinner so i try to eat many small meals.
DeleteThe pancake sounds delicious, I have never eaten Korean pancake before
ReplyDeletecan try to see whether you like it or not.
DeleteI think I will like it
Deletego try soon?
DeleteThis pancake is similar to the type my mum makes, with kuchai and dried shrimp. I used to faint at the price hehe. Simple ingredients only mah.
ReplyDeletei also feel that the price is high.
DeleteNever tried Korean pancake and by the looks of it ( drooling already), I think I want to try. Agreed with Stacy, so steep the price for something basic like this. I think I need to learn how to cook this myself.
ReplyDeletethe flour is a special flour i believe because it is soft yet chewy a bit like glutinous rice.
DeleteI love to eat at this particular outlet at MV. Their cooking is different from the other branch outlets. It used to be a tiny crammed space when they newly opened a few years ago but expanded a bit now. The feng shui must be good.
ReplyDeleteused to be cooked by koreans but now they hire other staff to do it.
DeletePa jeon, we'd always order that at any Korean place we go to.
ReplyDeleteme too if the price is not too high.
Deletei like pajeon too...particularly seafood or kimchi pajeon. Haven't try this outlet yet. Usually i passed by and saw it crowded....so till now tak jadi try.
ReplyDeletebefore lunch time should have seats.
DeleteI like Korean pancake. I think the only food I enjoy about Korean is its pancake. Lol.

DeleteMy friend introduced me to this kind of food. Love it.
ReplyDeletetasty, isn't it?
DeleteUsually people order Korean pancake to be shared one, isn't it? I don't think I have ever seen anyone other than myself order a pancake as a meal for self. :/
