Pork ball noodle - MYR6.50 nett. The mee hoon is very soft so I like it very much. Since we do not go to Imbi anymore to eat this pork ball noodle, we have found the replacement here.
Chicken strips Hor Fun - MYR6 nett. The strips of chicken meat is quite tough. I will not order this next time.
A plate of BBQ pork (char siew) and chicken meat to share - MYR6. The BBQ pork meat is tender and tasty but the chicken meat is tough so we will only order the char siew next time.
There are many other stalls here for us to try.
Sun Huat Kee Coffee Shop at Bangsar.
When I order Hor Fun, whenever possible, I'll request for them to replace the chicken meat to fishballs. I always find the shredded chicken meat to be tough and dry. The boys prefer fishballs so I appreciate those who can give me fishballs instead of shredded chicken meat.
ReplyDeletefishballs are definitely easier to chew than shredded chicken breast meat.
DeleteCommented twice, both times, they just disappeared. Let me go about it differently...
ReplyDeleteI looked for your previous two comments in spam and moderation folders but they are not there. I wonder what has happened to them.
DeleteLookes pretty decent to have a meal here.
ReplyDeleteHope they improved their food quality.
food quality is ok. just that some items do not suit me.
Deleteparking there ok? everytime I go bangsar I have difficulty looking for parking :-(
ReplyDeleteweekdays not ok. early sunday morning can find parking.
DeleteI like that kind of pork noodle too.
ReplyDeleteme too especially if it is soft.
DeleteDon't like those pork balls which aren't. Nowadays I eat pork ball noodles for those "cheong" slices and minced pork only, which is pretty pointless so I don't do it much at all. Only pork noodles use real pork balls these days :/
ReplyDeleteI know what real pork balls you are referring to. These pork balls are those flat ones referred to as 3jc pork balls as in sam kan jong pork balls.
DeleteI like chicken strips hor fun but prefer it dry but too bad the chicken strips are too tough
ReplyDeleteDry chicken strips hor fun? I have not eaten dry version before.
DeleteThe first noodle looks good. Chicken breast meat is always tough. I prefer char siew anytime.
ReplyDeletenot always. :)
