We are making this a monthly affair. Pork belly breakfast - MYR23.80+ (MYR25.23 nett) - for lunch.
A flat white - MYR8.50+ (MYR9 nett) and a Pineapple Energy drink - MYR10.90+ (MYR11.55 nett) which is red because of having beetroot in it.
Total bill is MYR74.20 nett at BreadFruits. We will be back next month to try other items on the menu.
The pan grilled salmon, can you choose how you like it to be done? I don't like my salmon to be well done. I like it to still be pink in the middle and will request upon ordering. If they cant do it as I like it then I will switch to other items on the menu.
ReplyDeleteNot sure. This one is not those thick ones so not sure can be cooked to keep it pink inside.
DeleteI miss the Big Breakfast, none here. All the western or fusion cafes here open very late, 12 noon - how to have breakfast so late. Tsk! Tsk! That salmon looks more like lunch or dinner.
ReplyDelete12 noon is definitely too late for breakfast. Yes, that salmon dish is for lunch.
DeleteYou guys had delicious breakfasts! I like that Pork Belly for sure.
ReplyDeleteI will be there next week as my friend just made appointment to catch up at Faber Towers. I would probably be eating just cakes and coffee that afternoon.
Please let me know which cakes are tasty there after you have eaten there.
DeleteBoth meals look very delicious! I don't mind roasted vegetables but the one you had does look quite oily.
ReplyDeleteThey use good oil though I believe.
DeleteI wouldnt mind making at monthly affair too. Looked delicious and well balanced meals.
ReplyDeletePrice doesn't allow us to eat it more often.
Deletelol...monthly visit...it sounds to me like menstrual thingy
ReplyDelete...
DeleteHaha, when I read your title, I thought of our girls' monthly visit haha
ReplyDeleteI would like to try that Pork Belly
You are same as NuxV
DeleteThe flat white is pretty. Nice breakfast/lunch.
ReplyDeleteWe ordered the breakfast meal during lunch.
DeleteBoth look good but I will choose the first one.
ReplyDeleteI guess it is because you prefer pork belly to salmon?
