It has been such a long time since we last ate here at
Hailam Kopitiam, Jalil Link (November 2015) so we visited it again and ate exactly the same food as our previous visit which are nasi lemak chicken rendang because they do not have beef rendang on their menu (coconut milk rice with chicken rendang), mee siam and cold coffee. The taste is the same as before, nice!
Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken MYR 11.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST) so is MYR 13.90 nett. Cham (cold) is MYR 4.50++ so is MYR 5.20 nett.
Mee Siam - soft but still sweeter than savoury. Having said that I will still order mee siam next time because of every item on the menu, this one interests me the most. The eatery still
looks the same as in 2014.
Mee Siam is my love. It is hard to find good mee siam these days. Mostly are just fried mee hoon and they call it mee siam which is very disappointing to me.
ReplyDeleteOne place where I can find good mee siam is at Rail Canteen, Sunway Nexis.
Thanks for the recommendation. Will try Rail Canteen, sunway nexis.
DeleteIf we are there, we will order the same items. We love nasi lemak with chicken rendang (since there is no beef rendang) and we love mee Siam too. And iced coffee too!
ReplyDeleteYou prefer beef to chicken rendang like us too.
DeleteMee Siam in SG, is not supposed to be dry and comes with sauce
ReplyDeleteSee, different right? I prefer Malaysian mee siam :P
DeleteHee hee, I prefer wet mee siam, especially the sauce (slurps) :P
DeleteWet mee siam, is that like nyonya mee siam?
DeleteYup
Deleteoic, thanks.
DeleteBoth look good.
ReplyDeleteYes. :)
DeleteThe nasi lemak and mee siam look pretty good. It would be hard for me to choose because I like both.
ReplyDeleteYou are capable of eating both. :D
DeleteTheir wide menu choices look interesting but they lack some QC as the tastes at the Taman Megah branch needs help.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I will avoid that branch too.
Deleteboth the nasi lemak & mee siam looks delicious! long time I didn't go to hailam jalil link...I tink more than 2 years liao..
