Assam Laksa - MYR3.50 nett.
Fried Tilapia Fish Fillet (3 slices only) with tom yum mee hoon - MYR6 nett.
6 pieces of Sweet Apom for MYR3 nett.
Char Kway Teow - I am not sure how much because I did not pay for this.
Food Court One is Pisa Corner Cafe
Char Kway Teow with duck egg - MYR5.50 nett - taste nicer than the previous CKT.
Food Court Two - You Yuan Fen Food Court with big ceiling fan.
Haven't been to either. Ya, the second char kway teow sure looks nicer.
ReplyDeleteThey are local food courts that's why tourists don't often go there.
DeleteWah, still can get a bowl of noodles for RM3.50 in Penang...so much cheaper than KL! Actually, I do like my char kway teow with lap cheong (like the KL ones) as it brings added fragrance but Penang-styled ones usually don't have that ingredient.
ReplyDeleteThe ckt at pisa corner has lap cheong.
DeleteTwo things I want to eat if I get a chance to go to Penang - Asam Laksa and Char Koay Teow. And many more actually hah..hah...
ReplyDeleteMany other dishes to eat in Penang, you are right.
DeleteI never been to this food court... I see the food, I wanna eat la!! Sedap!!
ReplyDeleteToo many food courts in Penang to visit them all.
DeleteHuh? Where the heck is You Yuan Fen?? Sh*t!! I stay in this area for so long and yet you went to a food court that I do not even know of!
ReplyDeletePisa Corner is a rather popular food court in this area, always parking full and tables full if you are slightly late on a working day lunch and dinner time. Next time you come here again, try their roasted pork (sio bak). They serve by carving one whole pork on site. It is pretty good!
It is just next to Pisa Corner. You won't miss it if you go to Pisa Corner now. I think You Yuan Fen is quite new.
DeleteWow. You got more choices and more food to taste in both food court.
ReplyDeleteYes so many stalls to choose from.
Deleteu have 2 rounds of dinner? anyway, the CKT really tempting especially with big succulent prawns....
ReplyDeleteWe all shared the food so we did not overeat. Hehehe, I like to eat CKT especially the prawns.
DeleteOh I am drooling over the laksa and CKT which are my favourite food. Yums, yums!
ReplyDeleteI like the CKT with lots of egg in Ipoh old town too.
DeleteI always thought that KL has more food courts because Klang Valley's areas are bigger by many folds. Most food courts here are often isolated or run by other races.
ReplyDeletePer square feet I mean, hahahaha.
DeleteI thought you were comparing two food courts in KL! Maybe you can do that one day? :)
ReplyDeleteDon't think I have seen two food courts in KL that is as close to each other as these two in Penang.
