Bacon & Balls

It seems that new eateries are coming up in Jalan Lazat, Happy Garden (Taman Gembira) or some may say it is located in Taman Bukit Indah or refer to the nearby Sri Petaling. Here is the location on G map.

Effort has been made to decorate the eatery with white picket fences and metal planter window still box for plants in pots.

The tagline "Premium Cuts for Quality Meat" for those who love their bacon and pork ribs.

Opening Hours: 9am to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm. They are closed on Mondays. Hopefully someone will write a full review on this place soon. I won't be going because I don't fancy pork that much. From the few reviews I have read so far, the porky food is delicious.

The owner of Bacon & Balls operates "Cappuccino Garden" that serves local and western meals, cakes and coffee one shoplot away from his new venture for many years now. I have eaten here 3 or 4 times I think in 2013 but when I am in this area, I tend to eat at local cofffee shops with my budget of MYR6 and for this price, I am not sure whether or not I can even get a cup of coffee at this eatery (not that I drink coffee).

  1. Love the Bacon & Balls building. It looks so English, and it's so clinically white. You did not go in and try? Ya...bet the things don't come cheap...you've got to chip in for all the expenses on the decor...and the aircon and all. :D

    1. No, I am not going to try. I see the owner chose the correct look for his restaurant as many like it.

    1. Yes it is like a charming white horse in a market place because there is a makeshift wet morning market right along the road in front of this restaurant.

  8. Bacon & Balls sound very very interesting.. Sekali pandang, already know it's western food.. I'm imagining every dish got bacon, and their "balls" is cheese balls or meatballs or something like that..

  9. I was surprised when I saw the post title as I know you don't eat bacon at all! :D So, your trip here was confined to a pic of the outside and hoping someone else would write a review, hmmm....:) It looks new as construction seems to be going on still upstairs?

    1. I am not sure whether upstairs will be occupied by the same restaurant or not. My trip there was to the makeshift wet morning market along the whole road in front of this restaurant to eat my MYR6 breakfast.

  10. Hmm, maybe I can try this when I drop my friend off when coming back from Penang next time. His home is at Jalan Lazat, on the opposite end from the shops..

  13. That is one area that I don't frequent. I don't know why I've never had the need to go there so I don't think I'll be dining here anytime soon.
