Saw a long queue

  2. Wow! That is indeed a VERY long queue.

It's like their original branch in Hong Kong - that was the one I went to, loved the crispy pork buns and the chee cheong fun with liver. Also really enjoyed their osmanthus jelly dessert.

I didn't even know the place had One Michelin Star until I was eating there - it's so different from the other European Michelin Star establishments. I loved the Tim Ho Wan dim sum in HK, would try this and see if it's as good as the ones there, although it's been a while (went to the original outlet in 2012).

  5. No, thank you. This is some kind of trend that seems to be catching on - some kind of in-thing among young people these days, it seems. Never mind how nice...you will not catch me queuing for it or anything else for that matter, not even if it's free. Ask me to queue for a million ringgit, ok lah!!!

  6. I'm not a fan of queues. I don't believe food can be that good that so much of my time is wasted waiting for it.

  9. The reputation precedes this place, so everyone wants to try (while some like to be the first few ones to blog about it or post it on their FB, I guess). I, too, would like to try (coz it's supposedly good) but I usually wait 2-3 months or when the queue subsides.

  10. wah so long queue, I think since their opening last week right?? heard so much about it in HK and it's the same thing - packed and crowded.. yes, I guess I'm not one of those "V Luv 2 Q" so it will only be when there's no crowd that I will consider going in.. anyway I also wonder if they are maintaining the "Michelin Star" standard here also.. haha!!

  14. I think the restaurant is over hyped. Waited till no queue & tried once in SG, but didn't live up to expectation sadly.......
