ELK Kopitiam Sri Petaling

On Monday 19.jan.2025, we were on the way to eat breakfast at Thong Kee when we passed by a new eatery and noticed that it was opened so we ate breakfast there instead.

9.06 am - he ordered signature Lum mee steamed chicken and prawns with noodles hor fun mixed yellow mee MYR 15.90++

8.52 am - he also ordered breakfast set of eggs, cold coffee and kaya butter toasts MYR 8.90++

9.04 am - I ordered polo bun pork chop MYR 14.90++

9.06 am - good that they didn't put any mayo or sauce. I like the taste and texture of the lean pork chop.

9.01 am - I also ordered the apollo bun kaya butter set which includes a drink so I selected hot roasted Hainan coffee for him MYR 6.90++

9.44 am - interior 

9.44 am - I think they occupied two shop units so this eatery has a big dining area

9.46 am - ELK Kopitiam 

9.44 am - total MYR 54.05 nett

*** Red Round Lanterns 🏮***

9.48 am - I think this shop sells lanterns 

9.48 am - a curtain of red lanterns

*** Ba Wang Hua Soup ***

2.21 pm - he cooked dried herbs ba Wang hua aka flowers of night blooming cereus which is a type of cactus with pork ribs. The entire flowers which are petals and stems can be eaten so I ate one big bowl of them.
