On Saturday 12.jul.2025, I chose to go to Taman desa for food.

9.34 am - Hainan chicken chop MYR 17.90 nett. Taste acceptable 👌 

9.33 am - chee cheong fun aka flat rice noodles in mixed sauce MYR 9 nett. Taste good and he says the profit margin of this dish should be high because there are no meat items in this dish.

9.27 am - my iced cold coffee C kosong aka coffee with milk no sugar MYR 4 nett 

His hot small signature Hainan coffee 25percent sugar drink MYR 3.10 nett

Butter kaya toast MYR 3.30 nett

9.30 am - half boiled eggs MYR 4.20 nett for him only. Total for 6 items MYR 41.50 nett.

*** Tuck Tuck Tei Chapfan ***

10.22 am - I didn't eat much protein in the meal before this one so I went to eat one egg. Scoop a bit from 7 dishes MYR 8 nett:

1. Steamed eggs 

2. Braised egg

3. Celery cauliflower broccoli 

4. Eggy tofu 3 pieces

5. Brinjal

6. Bitter gourd 

7. Okra

This is the only chapfan stall that I know of that will allow scooping a bit from many dishes for a good budget price.

*** Sepetang Roast Meat Stall ***

12.37 noon - he bought takeaway siew yuk aka roast pork and siew Kai aka roast chicken MYR 11 nett. Used to be MYR 10 nett last year. Increased by MYR 1 nett. I didn't eat any of this roast meat because I was very full from the chapfan no rice 7 dishes.
