On Sunday 13.jul.2025, he chose to go to uptown for food, start 0735 reached 0754. He ate chicken 4 times in 4 different eateries:

0758 1. Fried chicken thigh at TangLin Nasi Lemak 

0850 2. Fried chicken whole leg at Say Yes Cafe

10.50 3. Steamed chicken drumstick in ipoh hor fun noodles soup at starling mall food court

As it is a Sunday, the local council open air road side parking spaces are foc so we parked the car in front of yoyogi eatery.

7.58 am - we ordered one plate of nasi lemak and one hot drink to share.

7.58 am - he tried one piece each of beef lung and beef spleen and I ate all the remaining pieces with the sambal which doesn't taste spicy but my stomach could feel the heat after eating the sambal which is sweet. The beef lungs and beef spleen taste is quite strong so I had to eat them with the sambal which I guess is a mixed of belacan, chili and blended deep fried anchovies.

In the above photo, the dark slices are beef lungs and the cubes covered with chili underneath the beef lungs are the beef spleens aka limpa. I think this will be the only time I am eating this eatery's beef lungs and beef spleens. They do taste good but the taste is too strong for me.

While we were eating there so early at 8 am, we saw many food delivery riders collecting the nasi lemak to deliver to the customers who bought them online so this eatery is popular.

8.53 am -  one whole fried chicken leg for him, soft boiled eggs and one hot coffee C kosong.

8.56 am - kaya butter toasts with one extra dollop of kaya on the plate next to the toasts.

After that, I walked back to the car to get his jacket.

10.55 am - he read on online media that this ipoh chicken drumsticks horfun soup MYR 16.50 nett is very tasty so he bought one bowl of this noodles soup to try.

11.04 am - my portion, I ate one prawn only with the remaining hor fun noodles.

Then he wanted to go and eat again at this eatery named Ke Ren Lai that specialised in Hakka cuisine but after sitting down at table 22 and browsing through the menu, he said he was too full to be able to eat much so we ordered just one ala carte dish, 1 drink and 1 desert to share.

11.28 am - I chose MYR 10.90++ aiyu jelly and peach gum cold dessert with longan and konyaku cubes in it. The syrup used taste similar to commercial cordial drinks. The ingredients taste good despite the syrup used.

11.31 am - I also ordered their special iced blended lei Cha aka thunder tea milk drink MYR 13.90++ which has lei Cha taste mixed with fresh milk. Lei Cha is a savoury soup but this is a slightly sweet ice blended drink. Refreshing drink.
