8.06 am - he cooked omelette with sesame seeds and remaining cabbage from Monday 🤤
8.35 am - my portion of omelette which I ate with 2 slices of wholemeal bread.
10.41 am to 11 am - encountered traffic congestion on Salak hiway so exited to use seputeh instead.
*** Oriental Kopi ***
11.34 am - I have one MYR 5 off e coupon when spend MYR 50 so I ordered chicken herbal soup MYR 22.90++ which we usually don't order.
Our favourite kaya butter toast MYR 4.90++ and iced white coffee without added sugar MYR 9.50++
11.39 am - his deep fried boneless chicken pieces MYR 14.90++
After using the MYR 5 coupon, the total is MYR 55.55 nett.
12 noon - my portion of the herbal chicken soup after I asked him to eat all the whole chicken leg.
*** Kwong Woh Tong ***
12.39 noon - we shared one large hot herbal jelly MYR 16 nett.
*** Halla Holla ***
12.35 noon - takeaway beef sourdough sandwich MYR 28+
Add MYR 6+ for combo of hot black coffee and one chocolate chip cookie
Total MYR 36.05 nett.
6.04 pm - yummy beef sourdough sandwich 🥪 with pickles and mustard
*** Cherries ***
1.39 pm - j grocer is selling deep red cherries at a promo price of MYR 30.90 nett for 600g so I bought one pack.
I couldn't find any bright red orangey cherries.

The beef sandwich looks different from the one at DJ, more like proper roasted beef slices. The one I have been eating appears more like minced or chopped up beef. Also there are no pickles or mustard :( I reckon the formula is different and I don't think I will be going to Mid-Valley anytime soon, so no chance to compare. Your hubby's omelette is very bright yellow in color. Too bad the JG you went to did not have the Rainier cherries.
ReplyDeleteI didn't feel or see any roasted beef slices but some bits and pieces of beef fell out of the sandwich when I was eating it so I think it is chopped up beef too.
DeleteI can definitely taste mustard and the pickles I think could be gherkins.
He said the omelette is bright yellow because the cabbage he bought was stirfried with turmeric so the omelette got the yellow from the cabbage when he mixed them together.
