Salted Egg Yolk Soup

On Friday 22.nov.2024, went out nearby for brunch early in the morning. Did gardening on the porch roof because it looked as if it was going to rain, to avoid the hot sun and there was this resilient ficus plant growing out from the cement roof that needed weeding before it grows larger.

At 4 pm, went out again for early dinner because gardening made us hungry and thirsty.

*** Zok Noodle Pinnacle ***

4.10 pm - his special noodles for this day: century egg pork mix noodles in garlic 🧄 salted egg yolk pork bone soup MYR 19.90++ with hor fun as his selected noodle type.

There are about 12 cloves of garlic in the rich thick soup and a few small pieces of ginger. Crunchy ju Yao zhar as toppings.

4.14 pm - my evening tea set MYR 17.80++

I wanted to eat the macao pork chop and as I like to eat instant noodles I ordered this macao pork chop nissin instant noodles thinking that it is the soup type but it turned out to be the dry type. The glass of iced cham which is included in this set is very refreshing.

I like the taste of the macao pork chop because it is 100% lean meat marinated in garlic seasoning. Will have it again, maybe in a burger form as there is a macao pork chop burger in the menu.

The nissin instant noodles turned out to be indomie noodles mixed in the dry seasoning and oil given in the indomie sachets.

4.41 pm - total price MYR 43.75 nett.

8.41 am - his hot cham MYR 2.50 nett and deep fried intestines century egg salted egg congee MYR 10.50 nett 

8.53 am - my portion of his congee

12.37 noon - he bought 3 dishes from the chapfan stall at tim won MYR 7 nett for his lunch after gardening.

*** Gardening ***

9.39 am - I climbed up the ladder 🪜 to get onto the cement roof of the car porch.  Can you see the ladder 🪜? The cement roof is about 13 feet in height.

9.39 am - this resilient ficus plant has been removed but the roots are firmly and deeply embedded in the cement so I think it will grow again very soon.

*** Loquat Snacks ***

11.22 am - loquat snack, all the way from overseas. 250g pack took 7 days from 14nov to 21nov to be delivered. List price on shopee MYR 55, promo price MYR 27.50 nett. Redeemed 562 shopeecoins and MYR 5 shop voucher with free shipping, price paid is MYR 16.88 nett.

I like this loquat snack the best among the 3 we bought from 3 different shopee online stores because it is only slightly salty on the outer layer. Sweet and soft meaty loquat. This shop is Anmi Food Shop.
