My friend sent me this online article about this new food place called Bunch so we went there for lunch one day.
The place is smaller than what I imagined it to be.
The 5 kiosks operated by well-known eateries such as MyElephant and Owl Cafe have a limited menu with about 5 to 10 dishes only so we decide to eat else where. It also operates a cash free system where we have to download their payment app or buy a prepaid card from the centralised customer service counter. Customers can choose to get back the balance from the prepaid card at the same counter before they leave.
Dining area. The area upstairs is not ready yet but customers could walk up the stairs to take a look at the space. I am not sure whether we will be back for the food next time or not.
My Elephant is it a Thai eatery?
ReplyDeleteyes, you are so smart to derive that from the name.
DeleteI hopped over to the article to read about Bunch, it is a nature inspired food place, since you been there, how you find the atmosphere? Is it a nice and conducive place to have meals?
ReplyDeletenot so much but perhaps it is because it is not finished yet.
DeleteDoesn't look like a place I would like to go to.
ReplyDeleteguess not.
DeleteMaybe not fully completed yet... hope it will last...
ReplyDeletehope so.
Deleteseems like a factory turned into 2-storey food court with prominent F&B outlets....Those who pass by or working nearby would be happy...But other than that, i dun tink people will purposely go to such industrial area to dine..LOL!
ReplyDeleteyes, this area is an industrial area.
DeleteOh.. this does not look like a place I want to go. So much hassle on the payment part
ReplyDeleteI don't like the payment part too.
DeleteSo it appears your review isn't a good one.
ReplyDeletewe went there but didn't eat there so that says a lot for the ambiance. feels like being in a bunker.
DeleteMany businesses come and go. Hope this one will be able to sustain.
ReplyDeleteonly time will tell.
