MeeHoon with 2 toppings at MYR 10.90+ 10% service charge = MYR 11.99 nett. My friend told me that the deep fried wantons are tasty so I chose it as one of the toppings only to find out that the fillings are mushy when I bite into one. My friend said the fillings are mayo tuna but it does not taste like tuna, it could be chicken or pork meat shredded finely and mixed with mayo. The mayo taste drowns out every other taste so the mush could be cardboard for all I know. The other topping is a piece of lemongrass porkchop.
If one chooses mee hoon, hor fun or yellow noodles, there is no need for extra charges. My friend selected instant noodles so she has to fork out an additional MYR2+ (MYR 2.20 nett). Imagine needing to pay extra for instant noodles which one can easily cook at home.
HK feel?
HK Boy Cart Noodle, SS2, PJ. I have only been to the branch at Pavilion.
From afar.
What? An additional RM2 for instant noodles? I sure wouldn't want to go there...ever!
ReplyDeletehow atrocious!
DeleteRM2 can buy you like 2 packets of instant noodles already. Don't like the sound of mayo-y mushy filling that could be cardboard! Haha.
ReplyDeletevery true. due to curiosity perhaps you may be interested to try it. the crunchy skin is tasty.
DeleteAlamak, doesn't sound like a nice experience.
ReplyDeletethat's true.
DeleteIf the filling is mushy, then I would not like it. So geli like that.
ReplyDeletebut the crunchy skin is ok. the fillings are like mayo tuna fillings in some buns.
DeleteI wonder why instant noodles need to fork out extra money
ReplyDeleteNo idea.
DeleteI don't like mushy filling and wouldn't want to pay extra for instant noodles.
ReplyDeleteDo you eat mayo tuna buns? the fillings are like those fillings.
DeleteI went to eat at this outlet several times and it was always packed with lunch crowds. I find the menu a bit confusing with so many things to tick.
ReplyDeleteThey have many different order sheets for you to choose and tick from too. Confusing yes.
