We were walking around in MyTown Mall, Cheras when we saw this offer - buy 1 free 1 - so we decide to have a light meal to take advantage of this promotion which I believe ends on 4 June 2019 (Tue).
They have a unique ordering system where we have to go to a self-service counter to use the electronic tablet located there to key in our order ourselves and the dishes will be served to our table. During peak hours, would this work as there are limited self service counters (I can only spot 2)?
We ordered two dishes - a grilled tilapia fish at MYR 28.50++ (5% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 31.63 nett)

Oh, the Beef Rendang dish does not have a star next to it.
Due to the promotion, the mini flying fish is foc.
That sure is an offer that is hard to resist, one gets to eat free.

DeleteFood selections look very attractive to me! I agree that tablets placed at the counter might not be practical during peak hours. Especially when you have customers who take ages top decide what to eat.

Deleteseems like most F&B outlet are now implementing self-ordering kiosk/counter to cut-cost in staffing/manpower. But it is somehow lacking 'customer experience' especially people would still prefer to be served by waiter in case they have some enquiry/customise order. Nowadays I see long queues in McD self-ordering kiosk and it is so inefficient & troublesome coz people still need to queue again to collect food/pay, plus if u r behind someone who takes ages to decide what to eat, then it starts jamming the entire line.

DeleteI'm all for the self-ordering, but need more lah. Wingstop is also like this with limited tablets. Won't work if there are many customers.

yes tasty. if customers are always not many then a few should be ok so they really need to know the amount of customers that they will get.
