After reading PH's post about the delicious and juicy Iberico Pork Ribs (half rack, MYR 85.00 nett), we just had to try it and after eating it, we now declare that it is the best meaty pork ribs we have ever eaten. It is tender but unlike yesterday's back ribs which can be turned into pulled pork easily, it is not falling apart at the slightest touch but retains its firmness and springiness. We like the taste of the slightly tart dip too.
Of the 4 types of paella dish available: 1. Valenciana 2. Squid Ink 3. Iberico Pork 4. Vegetarian (need to pre-order), we decided to have two portions of Paella Valenciana because all of us like seafood and did not want to try the rest. It did not disappoint, the flavour of the sea is strong and tasty though I wonder would there be people who do not like this taste.
Close up - MYR 37 nett. I must say that the sea flavour of this paella tastes better than the one I had recently.
We also ordered deep fried squid at MYR 25 nett so that we would have something to snack on during the 30 minutes wait for the pork ribs and paella. Tasty and fresh, tender, not rubbery at all. The aioli dip has garlic bits in it so it has a very strong garlic taste.
Spanish Omelette - MYR 22 nett. There is another version of Spanish Omelette with Chorizo at a price which is just a bit higher.
Spanish Omelette has potatoes in it and it is fluffy compared to some spanish omelette which are dense.
Complimentary crisp crusty bread. Warm or cold drinking water was also served on the house (foc).
Hot Chamomile Tea at MYR 9 nett and Hot Flat White Coffee at MYR 12 nett.
The total bill is MYR 227 nett so it is lower than the previous tapas lunch that I had because this one does not charge service charge so if you are in KL and want to have tapas, this is the place to go to. Thanks to PH's info, we knew that the parking fee is MYR 5.00 nett for the first 3 hours if we eat at this restaurant so we parked at the building itself and did not need to walk the long walkway.
Nice metal design decor hanging from the ceiling. The interior is bright and airy from natural light through the huge glass windows.
Open kitchen where you can watched your paella being cooked.
Drinks counter.

It sure looks good. Special type of pork, that is why so expensive? Like Angus or Wagyu when it comes to beef.
ReplyDeleteYes, Iberico is a special type of pork but I wouldn't say this is expensive because it is very meaty and of good quality.
