WG Salmon Don

Salmon Don set at MYR 33.80 nett. No drinks are included. The hot hojicha (green tea) costs MYR 2.30 nett.

7 slices of fresh salmon slices.

Beneath the salmon slices are strips of omelette and seaweed on top of the deliciously soft and a bit sticky rice.

Yayoi Restaurant at the newly opened J's Gate Dining area at Lot 10, located on the same floor as Anzu and  Tokyo Restaurant.  

Total Bill for 3 pax - MYR 92.11 nett.

  1. Actually raw salmon is my favourite, however my 2018 resolution is to stop eating it aft reading about a man in SG losing his limbs due to GBS as he ate raw fish

    1. Read the news about SG ban the use of raw freshwater fish in ready-to-eat meals and to institute stricter rules governing the sale of ready-to-eat raw saltwater fish. Eateries must always send samples for testing that the raw fish does not have bacteria.

  2. A lot of bad reviews these days, tape worms and all, told my girl not to eat any raw salmon anymore after she has tummy upset from eating some at a Japanese food outlet here.

  3. Oooh. The salmon!! But I tried not to eat too much of these raw salmon. Did had a taste of the sashimi last weekend and that is it. Dont know when I would be having it again. ^^

  5. I love raw salmon but have been seeing some videos where there are worms in the flesh of the fish. Sometimes I don't think too much and just eat.

  8. This name Yayoi rings the bell as I heard of this place in Tokyo. Most probably I passed the place and the name attracted me. I love that generous salmon slices which looked so yummy to eat.
