Ordered the salted egg yolk prawns dish again because I think this is the prawn dish that I have been looking for. Price is the same as before at MYR 38+ (MYR 41.80 nett) and serving size is the same too - 10 prawns.
We also had a beancurd vegetable dish and a bowl of soup at MYR 28+ (MYR 30.80 nett) each.
Total Price for 2 pax is MYR 110 nett at Dragon-i, Midvalley Mall.
Over RM40 is kinda pricey, I think but never mind, as long as it is very nice and you enjoyed it to the max.
ReplyDeleteI believe that this is the usual price of a prawn dish in a restaurant like this.
DeleteI like to eat at dragon i
ReplyDeleteI remember your dragon i post.
DeleteI have only eaten once at Dragon i.
ReplyDeleteHow did you like the food there?
DeleteRM4 for one small prawn... in my old days I could have bought a whole big plate of economy rice already haha. (Sound like auntie already)
ReplyDeleteI have not had Dragon-i for ages... prefer Canton-i.
The prawn is not small. It would have to be a rather big prawn when uncooked because after being cooked it is still quite big. Try buying the usual prawns at normal supermarkets and after cooking it would just be the size of 20 cents. Not needing to go through the trouble of cooking it and yet can enjoy this delicious dish is worth paying RM4 for the prawn. I don't think you eat economy rice for all your meals.
DeleteHeh ok. I'd better not even try in case get hooked...
Deletehehehe, the price will keep you from being hooked!
