Dessert Dinner 2

Dessert Dinner again at Farmer Street, Jaya Shopping Centre. Mango Pomelo Ice Cream on Ice - MYR9++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR10.50 nett). Peanut Paste with Sweet Potatoes at MYR6++ (MYR7 nett), Peanut Paste and Sesame Paste at MYR5++ each (MYR5.85 nett). We stored the Peanut Paste and Sesame Paste in our containers to eat the next day.

Nyonya Curry Noodle (Yellow Noodle and Mee Hoon) at MYR12++ (MYR14 nett). We find the curry broth to be on the salty side. I guess this is because we are used to eating food that is subtle in flavour.

Our regular order - Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang at MYR13++ (MYR15.20 nett).  Again we would prefer for the deep fried anchovies, sambal and beef rendang to be less salty.  We also kept half of this dish away for the next day.

Total Bill is MYR58.30 nett so we get to pay by card (above MYR50) and we also qualified to get free parking (above MYR50).

  2. Oooo...nasi lemak looks good. Had a good one yesterday - blogpost on it coming up real soon! Yes, if we have been cutting down on salt at home, no msg, we will be put off by the amount they use outside...and guests dropping by will think our food is so bland. :D
