Look at that tasty-looking cross section slices of beef shank (the two slices with "patterns" in the meat). They were very tender too - so delicious!
The size of the bowl is quite small (see spoon for comparison)
We were surprise to see how small this bowl of beef noodle was (MYR15.30 nett).
It was a regular portion.
Very popular, heard of it - don't think I've ever tried.
ReplyDeletepopular eatery chain from Tangkak, Johor.
DeleteWow! I never seen such dish before but I wouldn't try it. Haha. Not a fan of innards. ^^
ReplyDeleteAnd it does cost a lot for such small bowl.
beef shanks are beef meat, not innards.
DeleteThe beef shank is so pretty, dear! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThey sure are!
DeleteI would enjoy that very much. Is that the only size? I may need two bowls :)
ReplyDeleteThere are two sizes - this size and a bigger size. You could order the bigger size portion.
DeleteThe broth with patterns looked so creative and tempting. It has been many years I have not eaten any beef noodles other than just ox tail soups.
ReplyDeleteIt is the beef shank (beef meat) with the patterns. Lolx!
DeleteIt looks delicious and I think I will like this tangkak beef!
ReplyDeleteI think you will too!
DeleteI never stopped by Tangkak on the way to Johor.. wonder if they really have this in the town itself...
ReplyDeleteYes they have. Maybe you could stop by next time.
DeleteNever seen that kind of pattern before on meat! Very attractive.
ReplyDeleteYes, very nice pattern!
