Patin Fish

Continuing from yesterday's post:

For lunch, we went to Super Thai to eat this steamed Patin Fish (Silver Catfish) from Temerloh - MYR52 nett. The fish is fresh and the spicy lime "broth" is very appetising but we need to be careful of the bones.

Pineapple Fried Rice - MYR18 nett. It is slightly sweet.

SuperThai Rice Set - MYR20 nett with a free drink (Pandan or Lemongrass) and we chose a glass of cold Lemongrass. PH has written a post all about this set. On the plate, there are 3 slices of Pork Belly (partly hidden by the small bowl of  watermelon), Mango Salad, Salt Pepper Squid, Tom Yum Soup, Green Curry Chicken, Oily and not very Crispy Omelette (under the rice), watermelon and green sauce.

Total Bill is MYR90 nett for 4 pax. We did not order much here too because we are going for dessert next.

  3. Oh my! Over RM52! I don't buy patin but my neighbour gave me a huge slab that day - said people gave them a lot for Chinese New Year and they got so sick of eating it. It was nice. I love Thai, so I am sure I would enjoy how they do it here.

  5. I remembered that PH has been there several times but I have yet to. I think the parking along that street is always congested and discourages me. I really must visit soon since I love Thai food very much.

    1. but the set is not that much for you. i think may be not enough for you because the rice portion is quite small.
