I love ying yong but I must eat it with lots of chili otherwise I feel very jelak.Happy New Year to you, Mun (just in case I don't get to hop by before the new year).

I like bihun well-soaked and soft too. Some stalls do not soak it enough, not really to my liking.
If you packed them up as takeaway, the bihun will be well soaked and soft.
I like this very much with pickled green chilies :)
Yeah, no pickled green chilies, the taste will be a bit boring.
this is my fav noodle! I also like it soggy coz that's when it has absorb all the flavors from the gravy...yummmmzzz, yea nice to go with pickled green chilies!
Soggy is the way to go for this!

I like yingyeong too! They blend very well together.. Must go Penang for this.. they have very nice hokkien char there..
I did not know Penang is famous for ying yeong.
