For the last week of 2016, I am going to show the lunches that I ate during a work week. Every morning when I eat my breakfast at a local coffee shop, I will store half of it away in my stainless steel container for lunch as the portion served is too much for me to finish early in the morning.
Half portion of beef lai fun noodle stored for lunch.
I added some broccoli cooked at home to it.
Just before I eat it, I will add in some hot water.
The big noodles, lai fun? That's the big version of bihun, right? My girl can eat that, no wheat.
ReplyDeleteyes that is the big version of bihun made with rice so is gluten free.
DeleteThis is so healthy with the broccoli added. You are really a small eater.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteHah? At hot water to it? To dilute the flavors? Isn't that too extreme, even by your standards? You greet my more than a week's absence with this...
ReplyDeleteThe noodle I stored was from a bowl of noodles in beef broth/soup but I didn't store any broth so it was quite dry during lunch time. I put in the hot water so that it won't be so dry. The flavours are still there since there wasn't any sauce or gravy to be diluted. Nothing extreme about this lah. Thanks for writing a comment here when you have not even replied the comments in your latest post.
DeleteYou can expect more or less the same for the coming few weeks/months. All my time goes to work these days. No time to write blog post/comments at all >.<
DeleteThanks for dropping by. Rest at home after work ok? Relax, we understand if we don't hear from you as often.
DeleteGreat idea, Mun! I usually can't finish big portion of food too. Merry X'mas, dear! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family had an amazing Christmas!
DeleteAfter adding the broccoli, the bowl of noodle looks nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteHaha you are very economical to feed!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, it does seem so, doesn't it. :)
