One fine day, my co-worker suggested that we join some of her friends from another company for lunch so the 9 of us had the following 6 dishes with rice: stir fry sweet potatoes leaves; Thai Style Tofu; Marmite Pork; Ginger Chicken; deep fried squid and "Sang Cheong". Total Bill is around MYR 188.
I shared a bowl of plain rice with my friend and took a bit of each dish. The above costs MYR 21 nett.
Can you spot the "Sang Cheong"? Sang Cheong is the fallopian tube of pigs. I have never dared to try it but my friend asked me to try just one piece. I took a small piece and did not remember its taste because I ate it together with dried shrimps (har bee) that it was stir fried with so har bee taste is all I remember. I remember its texture though. The texture is quite crunchy. I don't think I will eat it again because knowing what it is, it is not appetising.
The shop with the green awning is where we ate this meal: "Makanan Laut Wang Chiew" (黄记) at SS2, PJ.
