Cny D3 Otak Toast again

On Friday 31.jan.2025, he asked me to choose where to go for brunch so I selected Warisan Kopi because I want to eat the otak otak toast again.

*** Warisan Kopi Jln lazat ***

10.08 am - F07 homemade tortoise bun wild betel leaf otak otak and he ordered M01 iced coffee in error because he thought M01 is hot coffee.

10.13 am - D01 Warisan Kopi Four Fruits iced tong sui. I like this tong sui because it has a lot of ingredients: gingko, two quail eggs, a slice of pear and too many items to list out. I will order this every time I eat here.

10.19 am - his curry noodles with squid

*** Clear Fridge Food ***

1.01 pm - I ate the remaining 11 florets broccoli and all the remaining firm kampung chicken meat. He ate all the remaining deep fried ribs from Tuesday 28.jan.2025, 3 days ago. Taste ok but I took a lot time to chew the chicken meat because of my broken tooth.

Morning 44.50
Next morning 44.15
Didn't retain water because just ate chicken meat and no rice, processing protein, the body used up water.

  1. funny to see they serve the iced coffee in a plastic bag and then place in the steel mug. Hmm...tortoise bun? how does it taste like?

    1. I think most people cannot finish drinking the iced drinks so they want to make sure customers can bring the drinks home easily. The tortoise bun is crunchy outside and soft inside. Sweet and a bit buttery only. Very easy to eat.

  2. I wonder why the bun is called tortoise bun. The tong sui is indeed super loaded. I have yet to eat a tong sui that has quail eggs.

    1. I think it is shaped like a tortoise 🐢
Yes very super loaded. Quail eggs with tong sui that is slightly sweet is nice but I don't know you can accept eating quail eggs in cold sweet tong sui or not.

  3. Back in my kiddo days, leng chee kang came with a quail egg. Haven't thought about it for years now before being reminded by your post.
