Fish Slices XO Sauce

Sauteed Fish Slices with XO Sauce and Rice Set at MYR24.80++ (10% service charge and 6% GST). This set consists of the above fish rice, a glass of drink and dessert-of-the-day. We also add on a bowl of Revitalizing Herbal Soup at MYR8++ so the total is MYR32.80++ (MYR38.25 nett). The XO Sauce is very flavourful and a bit spicy. The fish does not taste like dory fish but I do not know what fish it is. The fried rice is firm but I prefer the rice to be softer.

The bowl of chicken herbal soup (add-on) and the lo hon guo drink (in the set). The drink is a bit on the sweet side but it could be due to the natural sweetness of the lo hon guo fruit.

Dessert-of-the-day turns out to be a small bowl of grass jelly (cincau). I prefer the wolfberries jelly dessert served during our previous visits. The bowl of soup is in this photo for size comparison.

Total bill is MYR38.25 nett for 1.5 pax because I just ate a bit so I consider myself 0.5 pax.

  8. I enjoy fish slices. Much more convenient to eat compared to having a whole fish.

  9. The fish slices and rice set looks good. The portion looks small or is it due to the big plate? If Eu Yan Sang starts a restaurant here, I will like to try their herbal soups.
