Savoury snacks are served first. There are three types, one for each of us.
Deep fried parmesan cheese rice balls - rich cheese taste, not salty.
Chicken curry puff and smoke salmon mini quiche
When we have finished eating the savoury snacks, a tray of sweet goodies were brought to us for us to choose the ones that we would like to eat. Each of us chose one of the above - a raspberry macaron, a mini pistachio strawberry tart, a slice of pistachio biscotti, and a stick of cookie which I think may be the "Langues de chat" (cat's tongue's cookie).
Then for the other sweet items, we chose one of each to share between the 4 of us. I did not catch their names when told to us so I will just describe what I think I tasted for each of them - (from left to right) - a choux pastry with hazelnut cream (Pralinoise Paris-Brest), pear tart, opera cake (tiramisu), a round dark chocolate cake, and I can't remember what the other two slices of cakes taste like. At anytime we could ask for any of the items to be refilled.
Later a tray of ham and cheese toasted sandwiches were brought to us but we only took two as we were quite full then. The selection of drinks were black tea, coffee or latte and all of us chose black tea.
For the 4 of us, only two paid MYR60 nett each and the other two ate for free. Of course we divided the cost evenly between us so each of us paid MYR30 nett only for this free flow afternoon tea.

My friends also went for two other afternoon teas (which I did not join) but which I will include here for comparison.
Grand High Tea Set by TWG - MYR118+ 10% service charge for two pax. All the above food items are infused with tea.
5 savoury items and 5 sweet items each so 10 food items for 1 person.

RM30 for high tea and what you got (my eyes was focused on that dark chocolate cake. Aiyo so nice!) is really a good price. High tea is usually for tai-tais and usually costs very much.
ReplyDeleteWill you go try this offer?
DeleteOh my! Everything looks gorgeous! Classy!
ReplyDeleteWhich of the 3 tea would you go for?
DeleteI love the savoury pastry. Any time tea break for me. Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteMe too. :)
DeleteWah...I like all those pastries and cakes! So grand, like a tai-tai :)
ReplyDeleteGo try with your brother?
DeleteBrasserie 25 is definitely a better deal for its promotional price. I am planning where I should celebrate our anniversary in June. Maybe a series of eating and karaoke.
ReplyDeleteSounds great! She will surely like it.
DeleteSame as Rose, I like the savory pastry.
ReplyDeleteOic.
DeleteI will chose the savory pastry but the sweet desserts look good too.
ReplyDeletePrice includes both types.
DeleteBrasserie 25 is a good deal at the promo price. I wouldn't have bothered with curry puffs, would have stuffed myself with the mini quiche instead!
ReplyDeleteGood choice! :D
