11.56 am - I was still very full so I ordered only one drink no food: pineapple 🍍 juice cold MYR 12++ very refreshing 😋
12.09 noon - he ordered fish and chips MYR 33++

Very green place
MAHSA Avenue entrance is opposite this Pokok KL Cafe. One of the block is the Urban Living Residence hotel.
12.31 noon - drive in entrance. We parked in the MAHSA Avenue parking space for less than one hour MYR 3.20 nett

Pour the rich creamy kaya foam on top of the coffee
A sprinkle of salt on top of the kaya foam 😋
The kaya foam is too flavourful coconut creamy sweet salty for me 😂

A buttery crispy croissant 🥐
Stir fry mushrooms with a unique sourish fermented taste which reminds me of the taste of preserved gan lan cai 橄榄菜😂
I ate every item on the plate so I was extremely full 🌝

He ate the fish and salad but not the fries so I took the fries home in my home container

What a nice play on the deja vu - Deja Brew and first time I heard about creamy kaya foam. If it is not too sweet I might like it. The Big Breakfast appears very loaded. I love places with lots of greenery.

Dear Mun, I love the beautiful green 💚 in your photos. I love fish and chips. Here, the fish is Cod. Perch...never heard of this fish on a fish and chips menu here. It's always Cod.

ReplyDeletePokok is one of the places I somehow still think about after the visit there following one of hubby's radiotherapy sessions. Happy times though I didn't know it then.
I think you will like the food at Guan's Kopitiam. I forgot the name of Pokok cafe so I look for it in your post.
