The two glasses of drinks cost about MYR 6.50 nett. Very affordable drinks.

Wed is Off Day
On Wednesday 10.may.2023, he wanted to eat brunch at lucky alley coffee shop but it was their off day so we went to Swee Hing coffee shop but it was also their off day. We then went to Mun Kee Seafood Food Court at Jalan Perisa 1, Taman Gembira but not many stalls are opened for business so we walked across the road and ate brunch at this Canton-Z Chicken Rice stall which is located in a roadside shed.
10.39 am - siew yuk and roast chicken rice and one plate of char siew MYR 18 nett. The siew yuk has very crispy skins so is tasty!
10.35 am - can you spot the words in red - Canton-Z Chicken Rice? The stall is behind this large green banner.
11.03 am - I felt like eating mihun horfun soup so after the roast meat meals, we walked to Choy Kei coffee shop at Jalan Lazat 1, Taman Gembira for my 3jc with slices of dark sausage mihun horfun soup MYR 9 nett. We ordered one iced coffee and one iced Hainan char drink but they gave us one hot hainan char drink instead which we accepted because we are easy going people.
11.05 am - since we are at this choy Kei coffee shop, we also ordered our favourite seafood mihun soup MYR 10 nett. This time I found a new item in this dish - half a piece of fish paste. I didn't like the pepper taste in the fish paste so next time I will request for this piece of fish paste to be omitted.
6.16 pm - after choy Kei coffee shop, he then went to Hiong Mei chapfan eatery to buy his dinner of chapfan no rice MYR 12 nett.
11.37 am - on the way back to the car, we walked past Suchan cafe, Taman Gembira aka Happy Garden so I popped in and bought a slice of chocolate cake.
1.48 pm - they put the slice of chocolate cake in a nice box.
1.52 pm - one slice of chocolate cake MYR 12.90 nett, chocolatey and sweet.
1.49 pm - Suchan cafe - full address.
1.54 pm - both of us are this bakwa meat floss bun MYR 5.50 nett which we bought in the morning from a motorcycle stall in front of Fatty Mok eatery because we went to look for this stall as kid 4 wants to eat this bun on the visit from overseas.
Countdown: tomorrow is movie day. 🍿

Suchan is very famous for her cakes and I hope to get an opportunity to visit the bakery. Enjoy your movie!

DeleteAh Suchan. I followed this girl's blog wayyyy back when not many blogs were around. She was into cooking/baking and eventually followed her dreams to open up these bakeries.
