Travelling Duck

On Wednesday 2.feb.22, it was the same for him as Monday and Tuesday, 2 trips per day to the Elderlies.

12.37 noon - one whole roasted duck from The Travelling Duck eatery in Tropicana Gardens Mall at MYR 128 nett. This duck is said to be the wagyu duck. The meat is tender and juicy lightly marinated.

Side view.

Top view. We gave half of the duck to my friend.

His late lunch shared with me.

Food for us and the elderlies from Tradisi Kopitiam which we have bought from, a few times.

Use extraong promo code for MYR 10 off. The fish ball noodles and curry chicken Mee dishes are for the elderlies. They say that the portion of noodles are a lot but they ate them all, no wastage.

Bought bread for the elderlies. I used up all 4 of the extra35 promo code so I used the last one of two of the verysorry e-voucher that I received for late delivery.

6.21 pm - he cooked two boneless chicken thighs and Vegetables bean curd sheets for the Elderlies. The 3 of them ate dinner together.

  1. I love roasted duck. Duck is expensive, but for CNY, it is acceptable. We didn't have roasted duck for CNY but roasted chicken. Kids prefer chicken more than duck.

    1. One whole roasted duck at a nearby stall is selling at MYR 85 nett. Without bones, chicken and duck is ok with me. Maybe kids don't like duck meat cos more compact than chicken meat.

  3. the dishes in the last picture would be my parents' favorite.
Boneless chicken thigh - coz no need to chew bones and it is a mild non-spicy 'meat' dish.
Veggie with beancurd sheets (in both soup form and stir-fried version)- got some variety with the soupy version in case the stir fried is dry.

    1. Thank you for your kind words. He specifically cooked these 3 dishes for the Elderlies so that's why they would be suitable for your parents too. Are you back to work already? Taking any additional days off for cny?

  4. So were you wowed by that duck? I've seen good reviews of it, but some mention not worth the price.
