On Wednesday 16.feb.22, we stayed at home the whole day and ordered two food deliveries. Tried out a place we never ordered from before called Happy Sabah Pork Noodle.
9.54 am - Brunch for the two of us. Sabah Sang Nyuk Noodle. I chose soup instead of dry and mihun. Then add a portion of hor fun. The mihun is slightly thicker but very soft. Both mihun and hor fun are soft and the texture has more rice contents and very less starch so it is not springy at all. The soup is quite clear and the ingredients are fresh enough so the porky taste is ok, not strong.
Meat Roll. Ordered this additional item to reach the amount MYR 21 required to use the Brunch 35% off promo code on Foodpanda. The taste of the meat roll is mainly garlic, a bit of nam yee and a bit of 5 spice taste. Acceptable. I ate one piece.
I have used up all 12 of my monthly free delivery so now I have to pay the delivery fees of almost MYR 6 which is higher than grab but with the promo code, I can still consider the delivery to be free but the food price is higher than going there to buy takeaway so the markup is the price for the convenience of not having to drive and to wait there so still worth it.
I just chose this eatery from Foodpanda so I don't know where it is. Have to search online for the address which is:

For his dinner, it is salmon rice from Brew House kuchai lama. I just ate one slice of salmon and a bit of rice because I still have to eat the remaining pizza from Monday.

DeleteI miss good pork noodles like the one I used to enjoy at the Starling foodcourt. You still have leftover pizza. Me of course, would have sapu the whole pizza in one sitting. LOL!

ReplyDeleteYa the price markup can be pretty hefty. End up with discounts also it's cheaper to just pick up direct.
Point for buying delivery is because don't want to go out.
