Kuay Tiew Reua

*** Updated (Jan 2016): this eatery is no longer at this location. I am not sure whether it has moved to some other location or is no longer in business.

After we finished eating at Win Soon, we walked out the eatery and saw a queue next door. So we looked for the name of the shop and saw it - Authentic Thai Boat Noodle. We will be back to try this noodle when the queue is no longer there.

Long queue

Then we saw this banner.

  1. I guess this will be in the next post? Thai Boat Noodle sounds yummy, like noodles and tomyam and such.. Should be nice I think..

  2. Heard that the shop is new, friend said you don't get the noodles served in a boat shaped bowl or what, boat noodle means small portion noodle like what you get on the boats along the river in Bangkok.

  3. Yes, no queues for me either. Nothing can be THAT good as to warrant my waiting in line. I'd settle for something not as nice/a bit more expensive....as long as they do not subject me to such abuse. I cannot understand why people would put up with this kind of nonsense, really. Eat free, ok lah... Pay money to be treated like beggars. Absolutely ridiculous!

  5. ah.. Thai Boat Noodles?? this remind me of a similar restaurant in Empire Damansara.. also something boat noodles and the queue is always very long.. i heard the noodles are served in mini size, probably two mouths can habis, so everyone will like order 4-5 bowls for a normal portion.. next round, you join in the queue to find out and share with us please~~ :)
