Nasi Tumpang - Rice wrapped into a cone shape using banana leaf.
The rice is layered alternately with kerisik (toasted grated coconut), fish curry with a small piece of fish, omelette and sambal (a spicy condiment). Very tasty because I like to eat the compressed rice which is quite soft.
The packaging is so unique, never have something like this before!!!
ReplyDeleteThe packaging is like a long cornetto ice cream cone, hehehe.
DeleteYes!!! No wonder I like it, because it looks like ice cream cone!!! =]
DeleteMust be careful when opening the packaging to preserve the cone shape. =)
DeleteSeldom see this kinda food here, looks tempting!
ReplyDeleteIt is very tasty but due to its small portion it can be eaten as a snack.
DeleteDon't think i eat this before...
ReplyDeleteBefore this, I also never knew about this.
DeleteEh nice ah this one. Read on the food blogs I frequent and saw at Belanga but it's such a small portion for the price!
ReplyDeleteNice but sometimes I find that the rice is not enough for the flavourful ingredients. Yes, small portion for that price.
Deletehad that once in Midvalley/ not bad
ReplyDeleteThere is another stall in midvalley selling this - warung .....(can't remember the full name).
