Happy Sabah Pork Noodle

On Wednesday 16.feb.22, we stayed at home the whole day and ordered two food deliveries. Tried out a place we never ordered from before called Happy Sabah Pork Noodle.

9.54 am - Brunch for the two of us. Sabah Sang Nyuk Noodle. I chose soup instead of dry and mihun. Then add a portion of hor fun. The mihun is slightly thicker but very soft. Both mihun and hor fun are soft and the texture has more rice contents and very less starch so it is not springy at all. The soup is quite clear and the ingredients are fresh enough so the porky taste is ok, not strong.

Meat Roll. Ordered this additional item to reach the amount MYR 21 required to use the Brunch 35% off promo code on Foodpanda. The taste of the meat roll is mainly garlic, a bit of nam yee and a bit of 5 spice taste. Acceptable. I ate one piece.

I have used up all 12 of my monthly free delivery so now I have to pay the delivery fees of almost MYR 6 which is higher than grab but with the promo code, I can still consider the delivery to be free but the food price is higher than going there to buy takeaway so the markup is the price for the convenience of not having to drive and to wait there so still worth it.

I just chose this eatery from Foodpanda so I don't know where it is. Have to search online for the address which is:

For his dinner, it is salmon rice from Brew House kuchai lama. I just ate one slice of salmon and a bit of rice because I still have to eat the remaining pizza from Monday.

On Tuesday 15.feb.22, we ordered 5 deliveries and he took lunch over to the Elderlies.

11.51 am - Avocado honeymelon drink. Cold drink but without ice. I like this drink because it has the creaminess of avocado and the very slight natural sweetness of honeymelon so it didn't taste that sweet. Will buy this drink again if I am in the vicinity.

Chocolate croissant. Very crispy and buttery.

Avocado croissant. Just as crispy with creamy avocado paste fillings.

12.41 noon - nasi lemak curry chicken and sambal petai prawn rice for both our lunch and dinner from Jazz Cafe. Total price is MYR 18.50 nett for both dishes inclusive of delivery fees after discounts and promo code so it is a good price.

11.08 am - use PestaPanda promo code to replenish the Wall's Top Ten Chocolate Ice Cream Sticks in our fridge. It is good that they can put 12 sticks of ice cream into this small cooler bag.

Total price is MYR 16.20 inclusive of delivery so one ice cream stick is only about MYR 1.35 compared to the original price which is MYR 2.25 per stick. A savings of 40%.

10.08 am - bought Gardenia bread for the elderlies using Pandamart and the mart30 promo code. Total price is MYR 20.31 which is less than the price of the bottle of shampoo so now I don't have to buy shampoo for one whole year.

9.31 am - this is his breakfast and the elderlies' lunch from Yang Kee beef noodles OUG, one of the Elderlies' favourite food. I ate the remaining Pizza from yesterday for brunch.

On Monday 14.feb.22, my Valentine's day gift to myself is one delicious pizza at a super worth it price!

1 pm - a 9 inch Quattro Beef Classic Pizza with 4 different toppings: prawns, chicken pineapple, beef pepperoni, and mushrooms. I chose mozzarella cheese Tarik crust so that the rolled up edges have gooey mozzarella cheese in it. Tasty! There is a small plastic stand in the middle to prevent the cardboard cover from squashing the toppings on the pizza.

PestaPanda promo code is only available for 10 days and it gives a max MYR 12 off and the minimum spending amount needs to be above MYR 25. This pizza only costs MYR 16.10 inclusive of the delivery charges. Ordered using the Foodpanda app but is delivered directly by Domino's Pizza.

1.06 noon - my portion of cendol, so cold and refreshing. The coconut syrup used tastes like those brown coconut syrup candy wrapped in colourful transparent plastic wrappers. Bought from Nasi Lemak Bamboo Sri Petaling.

Used the Brunch promo code to get a maximum of MYR 7.50 off from morning until 2.30 pm for a minimum order of MYR 21. Both of us shared the nasi lemak and find the rice to have a nice aroma of pandan fragrance.

1.09 pm - one whole pizza is too much for me so I kept 5 out of 8 pieces in the fridge for another day.

1.13 pm - close up view of the prawns, baby tomatoes toppings on the pizza. So delicious! 😋😋😋

On Sunday 13.feb.22, we went to Taman Desa to buy our food.

Bought the smallest portion of siew yuk at MYR 10 nett from Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop. There are more pieces than what is shown in the photo above. Crispy salty skin so it is tasty!

Economy rice from the same stall at MYR 6 with a small portion of rice, malabar vege, egg tofu, soyknot, and stir fried melon strips with glass noodles.

Literally Free

On Saturday 12.feb.22, we just stayed home and ordered lunch delivery for the Elderlies. He joined them for dinner and ordered food delivery from Canton Kitchen.

5.40 pm - Dinner from Canton Kitchen with two dishes. The Small Pak choy in the small white bowl is blanched by him. They find the kampung chicken wine dish and four vegetables dish to be nice.

Bought from Shopeefood. Total price is MYR 32.40 for two dishes.

Gardenia Bread from pandamart for the Elderlies. With all the discounts, the two loaves of bread can be considered as foc which means the price of the shampoo is only MYR 23.02 compared to the normal price at supermarkets which is MYR 33.90 if there is no discount.

9.10 am - our shared breakfast of 3jc mihun soup bought on Thursday with self added small back choy. This is our favourite 3jc mihun soup from Choy Kei.

12 noon - the Elderlies lunch from Chok Kar Chong eatery. They love the plum sauce pork knuckles. The grouper fillet bihun has too few slices of grouper fish so the next time we buy from this eatery, we will still buy the pork knuckles dish but with another dish. Total price is MYR 32.50 nett after using the 6th Hotdeals promo code so I have used all 6 codes.

Which Shandy

On Friday 11.feb.22, we stayed home and ate the food in the fridge for our 3 meals.

He bought these two cans of Shandy for CNY. Which one you do prefer?

10.42 am - our shared lunch. The seafood mihun bought from Choy Kei coffee shop at MYR 9 nett on Thursday has so much noodles which is good as I like to eat soft mihun.

Ba Bao Spice Potato Chips

On Thursday 10.feb.22, we went out to buy food for the whole day. He then went over to the Elderlies' place with their lunch.

50g of Potato Chips. All in my stomach in less than 5 minutes. The flavour is Ba Bao Spice which is a bit salty, a bit peppery but not hot and not spicy. I don't feel thirsty after eating it.

Oishi Potato Chip is sold in Mix Convenient stores.

It has been a few months since I last ate nyonya kuih so I bought two packs. So tasty!

11.02 am - my brunch of rojak, ytf, ccf and nyonya kuih. For dinner, we shared one pack of 3jc mihun from Choy Kei coffee shop at Jalan Lazat 1,  Happy Garden.
