WL Beef Lai Fun

For the last week of 2016, I am going to show the lunches that I ate during a work week. Every morning when I eat my breakfast at a local coffee shop, I will store half of it away in my stainless steel container for lunch as the portion served is too much for me to finish early in the morning.

Hakka noodle with char siew (BBQ pork) - MYR7.50 nett. Cold lime juice - MYR3 nett. A portion of deep fried dumplings (3 pieces of sui kow) - MYR4.80 nett so it is MYR1.60 nett each. The noodle is soft so I like it and I requested for lean meat and was given lean meat with just a little bit of fat at both ends. I also like the way they cut the meat into thicker pieces instead of thin slices like what many eateries tend to do. 

A plate of char siew rice - MYR7.20 nett. The portion of rice looks more than the meat.

Total bill is MYR25.

Sunway Nexis

Ipoh curry noodle which is full of strong spices flavour with prawns, char siew (BBQ pork slices), curry leaves, shreds of chicken meat - MYR12.90 nett. White Coffee with Ice - MYR4.30 nett and free glutinous rice balls (tang yuen) because yesterday was Winter Solstice Festival (DongZhi). I like the curry because of the spices and the hor fun is very smooth. The white coffee is very rich.

Side dishes of deep fried dumplings (sui gow) - MYR4.90 nett for 3 pieces (one portion) and deep fried lotus buns. Both are very crispy and tasty. One of the better deep fried dumplings.
