And he chose to go to Mountain Hill roadside Shed at Taman Serangkai because hog kitchen is not opened yet and we haven't been to mountain hill for quite some time now. Hog kitchen current opening time is at 10.30 am for weekdays and 9.30 am for weekends.

Village chicken is quite similar to free range chicken lean with less fat. He says there is a slight taste that he needs to get used to. He says he can taste it in the chicken livers too. I ate a piece of chicken liver but I couldn't taste anything out of the ordinary.
At home, I finished off the remaining two slices of green gardenia whole meal bread with double churned scs butter and completed my meals for this day.

I wonder what is the taste that your hubby detected in the village chicken. I must go eat pork soup with livers at Ding Xiang one of these days. I haven't been there for a while.
