Cny day 4 Three Ice Bowls

On Saturday 1.feb.2025, we ate lunch with the elderly at Go Noodle House Pearl Shopping Gallery and also topup his meds. Later in the evening, kid1 and family had cny dinner with the elderly at Rue Ee Teochew restaurant OUG.

On the way back, I stopped by kwong wah oug and ate 3 bowls of ice desserts: chendol, bubur chacha and ABC while he ate a bit of each.

11.02 am - his sang har glass noodles MYR 30.90++ with 3 freshwater prawns. Add 1 freshwater prawn MYR 9.90++ to make it 4 prawns. He gave the elderly two prawns. Includes wine in the soup as default.

10.52 am - hot cham for the elderly MYR 6.50++

Hot Hainan coffee for him MYR 6.50++

10.59 am - grouper fish fillets mihun MYR 25.90++ for the elderly. Top up MYR 2.50++ for wine to make it premium soup. The small cup with dark liquor in it at the bottom right of this photo is the wine.

11 am - my grouper fish fillets no noodles soup MYR 30.90++

12.27 noon - abc, bubur chacha and chendol. All three I requested for low sugar. Total about MYR 22 ish. All very tasty but if can only buy 2, I will select abc and bubur chacha.

Cny D3 Otak Toast again

On Friday 31.jan.2025, he asked me to choose where to go for brunch so I selected Warisan Kopi because I want to eat the otak otak toast again.

10.08 am - F07 homemade tortoise bun wild betel leaf otak otak and he ordered M01 iced coffee in error because he thought M01 is hot coffee.

10.13 am - D01 Warisan Kopi Four Fruits iced tong sui. I like this tong sui because it has a lot of ingredients: gingko, two quail eggs, a slice of pear and too many items to list out. I will order this every time I eat here.

1.01 pm - I ate the remaining 11 florets broccoli and all the remaining firm kampung chicken meat. He ate all the remaining deep fried ribs from Tuesday 28.jan.2025, 3 days ago. Taste ok but I took a lot time to chew the chicken meat because of my broken tooth.

Cny D2 cotti coffee wallace

On Thursday 30.jan.2025, he asked me to decide where and what to eat so I replied: Midvalley Mall because it only takes 10 minutes to go there since there is no traffic congestion. There are long queues at popular eateries so I chose ACL for our brunch.

After that, on the way back he stopped by Yitcha Kaw Kaw Taman Desa for me to eat my favourite ginger sweet potatoes tong sui but it was not available so we ate red bean tong sui instead. To my surprise I saw Cotti coffee has a kiosk in the newly opened Wallace Burger & Chicken eatery a few shops next to Yitcha Kaw Kaw so I bought a cup of 12 oz iced long black.

10.49 am - total MYR 46.85 nett:

Eggs, toasts, drink

2. Nasi lemak chicken rendang 15.90+

He feels that there is too much sugar in the rendang gravy

Food is decent and no long queues so I had a pleasant dining experience.

1.24 pm - my favourite ginger sweet potato tong sui is not available so I ordered red bean tong sui instead 3.90++ and double thin kaya butter toast 5.5++ with a hot small cup of coffee ☕ for him. Total MYR 14.95 nett.

3.20 pm - 12 oz iced long black MYR 5.20 nett.

Refreshing with a sweet aftertaste.

2 pm - the Cotti coffee kiosk is inside the newly opened Wallace Burger &, Chicken eatery in Taman Desa which is a few shops units away from Yitcha Kaw Kaw Taman Desa.

5.44 pm - he reheated the vegetarian dish from the fridge that he cooked a few days ago so that the both of us can finish eating it.

One more day to cny

On Monday 27.jan.2025, coffee shops such as Thong Kee Sri Petaling has closed for cny so he chose to eat breakfast at the small standalone house in the Sri Petaling car park behind the telecom building that serves meals called Good Morning 🌞 eatery since we were in the area before 8 am which is the time more eateries would be opened.

7.55 am - pork dry yimi MYR 10 nett. He ate half the dry noodles and we walked away from the remaining yimi.
