On Wednesday 31.dec.2025, went to Chun Yang for food.

9.26 am - completed filling up ten stamps on the loyalty card so was given a foc bpa free tumbler.

On Tuesday 30.dec.2025, went to PJ early at 7.23 am. Morning rush hour so there were many cars on the road but moving so reached PJ at about 7.49 am. Guess many working people are clearing their annual leaves so traffic is considered good, no congestion.

8.20 am - MJ Wang seapark coffee shop. It has been a very long time that we didn't go to seapark pj that we don't even know that Ruby Seapark condo is completed in 2022.

After this seapark, we went to starling mall until 1 pm, parking fees MYR 5 nett.

12.46 noon - Berry Bananamania with a scope of strawberry ice cream MYR 27+

I prefer the previous Genmaicha souffle pancakes dessert because it is not sweet. This dessert is sweeter due to the scoop of sweet strawberry milky ice cream.

1 pm - I ordered a cup of Genmaicha soft serve MYR 13.50+ after finishing the pancakes to lessen the sweet taste in my mouth by replacing it with the fragrant taste of roasted rice Genmai from the Genmaicha soft-serve.

Total MYR 57.90 nett.

Was in time for 2pm.

On Monday 29.dec.2025, went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling for food. He cooked abc ribs soup later.

He cooked a large pot of ribs, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, onions and black beans soup.

2 pm - I ate a bowl of soup with the ingredients 😋 

3.22 pm - I ate a 2nd bowl of soup with two slices of wholemeal bread.

On Sunday 28.dec.2025, went to Midvalley mall for food.

9.02 am - ordered our usual trotters dry noodles, two soft boiled eggs, two deep fried eggs and one glass of hot coffee MYR 43.85 nett.

11.04 am - we shared one nasi lemak whole chicken leg without sambal MYR 16.90++ and one glass of hot barley drink MYR 4.50++

Bought a stand electric fan and from jy grcr: carrots, onions, potatoes, tomatoes and ribs because he wants to boil abc soup

On Saturday 27.dec.2025, went to Taman Desa for food.

9.49 am - nasi kerabu whole chicken leg

9.47 am - eggs and hot coffee for him. My iced coffee C with milk no sugar is very strong, too strong for me as my whole body will ache after drinking too strong coffee.

9.54 am - kaya butter toasts

10.23 am - Nanyang Old Street eatery. After this breakfast, we immediately walked up the street to tuck Tuck Tei to eat Chapfan.

Roasted Garlic

On Friday 26.dec.2025, went to Yitcha kaw kaw Sri Petaling for food.

9.56 am - we shared a bowl of herbal duck leg herbal soup

10.53 am - tried the hazelnut dark chocolate my friend bought in oz. Rich chocolatey with lots of whole hazelnuts.

11.29 am - the previous day, no one ate any of the garlic 🧄 cloves so I took the whole garlic 🧄 bulb home and ate half a bulb with the remaining home I took home from say yes cafe which is sambal, from yin sourdough which are two crogels and two sausages, from Gu On which are two halves of one whole cream cheese hotteok. Ate the sambal with two slices of wholemeal bread.

On Thursday 25.dec.25, went to Starling mall and met up with our friends from uni days.

11.36 am - our 2 friends gave us a treat so they ordered the Gu On Intro set 03 for 2 pax MYR 188++ which includes:

Smoked pork belly bone-in 250g

Smoked beef short ribs 250g

Pork bone soup, my friend chose kimchi from the 3 options of original, kimchi or spicy

Cream cheese hotteok 2 pieces, my friend chose original from the 2 options of original or sesame.

I chose one ala carte original pork soup MYR 32++

11.34 am - spicy and original pork soup.

11.37 am - cream cheese hotteok 

11.32 am - they cooked the meat in the kitchen and brought the meat to the table while the meat was still smoking. I ate around 4 pieces of beef which are tender and delicious.

11.26 am - 3 types of refillable banchan:

 cabbage kimchi, daikon kimchi and lotus roots which we refilled once for all 3 types.

Salty shrimps and chili paste for the pork soup.

11.17 am - they even put a cross section of Star fruit on top of the lettuce as decorations and I ate it.

1.40 pm - after Gu On, the 4 of us walked to Soylab and ordered two of the same genmaicha souffle dessert. Only slightly sweet so it is tasty 😋 my friends gave us a treat for this dessert too

New Roast Meat Eatery PBJ

On Wednesday 24.dec.2025, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil for food.

Saw this new restaurant and decided to give it a try.

11.49 am - a small portion of 3 combi bbq honey pork, siew yuk aka roast pork and roast duck MYR 48+

The crunchy siew yuk skin is a bit on the tough side.

The bbq honey pork has gooey gummy fatty layers in between lean meat so I find it tasty as the fatty layers are not that oily so we will order it again.

The roast duck crispy skin has a nice smokey taste so we will order it again.

11.51 am - minimum order of two truffle oil char siew bao MYR 13.80+

3 steamed shrimp dumplings MYR 11.80+

12.40 noon - after 30% discount the total price is MYR 56.65 nett.

12.46 noon - we don't like the milk used in the drinks here so we ordered a glass of hot black coffee kosong aka without sugar MYR 4.50+

I ordered a sardines egg wrap MYR 12.90+

12.48 noon - I also ordered one bun with a piece of otak otak and one fried egg as the fillings MYR 8.90+

Otak otak is made from fish meat paste blended with many types of herbs and spices. This piece of otak otak taste similar to minced fish meat curry paste so is passable.
