On Wednesday 5.march.2025, supposed to go to Kokan but he decided to go to Choy Kei instead to eat the fresh water prawns and fish fillets mihun soup. Then he dropped me off at the mrt station to go to IPC to meet my friend from pg.

Cooked Dried Up

On Tuesday 4.march.2025, early morning, we went to Thong Kee for breakfast, then he cooked prawns lunch, stew ribs daikon carrots for his early dinner and sweet potatoes tong Sui which turned into cooked sweet potatoes because the tong Sui water all dried up, reason being he didn't think that the pot could get so hot so fast till the boiling water could dry up so fast. Luckily he could there in time when I asked him, no need to jaga api? to save the pot and sweet potatoes but no more tong Sui because no more water in the pot and he has to scrub the burnt sweet potatoes from the pot.

11.47 am - he cooked this dish for lunch.

12.09 noon - my portion of prawns, red carrots, coriander, garlic eaten just like that without rice.

2.13 pm - my friend contacted me that my friend is having red yeast wine chicken mee sua nearby so I walked to the eatery and then we walked to ho Liao to chit chat further from 1.42 pm to 3.21 pm and then I walked home in 3 minutes.

At ho Liao I just ordered 4 items so that we could sit in the quiet air conditioned environment to chit chat and catch up. Our previous meet up was on Monday 19.feb.2024, a year+ ago where I also ate my last durian. Didn't eat any durian after that day.

2.16 pm - my friend only wanted a glass of hot water 90+ cents. Nowadays this is the only drink my friend drinks, no coffee no tea no sugary drinks because just had polyps removed after cny. I ordered spinach malabar MYR 7.50+ and requested the eatery to put the spinach malabar into the fish paste wantons soup MYR 7.50+ no noodles. I also ordered iced cham MYR 5.50+

On Monday 3.march.2025, after bouncing a few eateries around in the morning, finally settled on going to pavilion Bukit Jalil for brunch and to buy meat and vege because he wanted to cook soup at home.

3.24 pm - the pizza is flavourful and tastes even better with a bit of kimchi added on top. The packaging box is a sliding box so it makes it very easy to access the pizza.

On Sunday 2.mar.2025, the plan was to go Chun Heong Bangsar to eat our favourite 3jc dry noodles and then go midvalley mall but last minute changed plan to go eat brunch at yitcha Kaw Sri Taman desa.

New Eateries Sri Petaling

On Saturday 1.mar.2025, he read about a new eatery in Sri Petaling at the Overseas restaurant area that opened about one month called Teochew Cuisines Kopitiam Sri Petaling by Chan's Kitchen which is located next to KFC Sri Petaling so we went there for brunch after he has applied another can of blue water sealant paint to the cement car porch ceiling from about 8 am to 9 am.

It opens at 8 am and closes at 4 pm.

At 4 pm, the shop is a hotpot eatery called Starry Sky Marina Hotpot Sri Petaling.

They shared a physical shop.

10.22 am - he ordered this plate of ham sandwich MYR 7.8+ because it has a 👍 sign next to it 😂 

This ham sandwich is suitable for children to eat raw cucumbers and raw tomatoes because it puts a thin layer of sweet cheesy mayo on the bread and children mostly like sweet food. I was surprised that he could eat that sweet cheesy mayo and teased him about it which he retorted he drank his hot cham drink immediately after that to wash away the faint cheesy taste.

10.27 am - I ordered this small bowl of sour spicy mustard vegetables MYR 6+ which is soft and not spicy but is sour so is suitable for me.

10.43 am - I also ordered this plate of dry siew yuk wanton noodles MYR 13.80+ for both of us to share. The siew yuk skin is crispy.

10.52 am - my last mile to finish all the remaining food. I would prefer the egg and tofu to be less salty. Total MYR 61.55 nett.

11.14 am - this shafi shop is also a new shop that opened about one month ago. They offered free shawarmas during their grand opening without any conditions which I missed out.
