  1. I've tried these herbal jellies before, but they're not something I enjoy.

  2. Not into these. Always attracted by the fragrance of the herbal eggs at such places but somehow, I never stopped to try.

  3. I like guai ling gao, but the real ones could taste a bit bitter.. Whereas the normal ones in supermarket taste like leong fun, sweet.. But both also I like..

  4. I do patronize this chain often, mostly to get their herbal tea with medicated powder.. less for the "gui ling gao".. :)

  5. Their original shop is the one in Petaling Street right? I always went there for the herbal tea as a kid. I hated their gui ling gao though, even with honey, it is super bitter! >.<

    1. I am not sure which one is the original shop but they have many outlets in Petaling Street too. The herbal tea I guess you drank the sweet one instead of the super bitter Wong Lo Kat which is more bitter than the gui ling gao.

    1. You heard right. It is bitter but not as bitter as the Wong Lo Kat drink.

    1. It is bitter but not very bitter. If you can drink bitter coffee, you would be able to stand the bitterness of this herbal jelly.

  12. I used to eat them bitter and poured some syrup to sweeten. Then my wife came along and told me horror stories about the water turtles. I have retired. Lol

    1. I don't think they use water turtles here. Maybe a long time ago but not any more. Just herbs.
