Moved

I suggested to my 3 friends to go to SS2 to eat durians at the SS2 durian stall only to be told that they were moved to another place - Jalan Harapan, Section 19. We found the new place quickly because it is quite near to the previous location - about 3 minutes drive away.

The durian stalls were relocated to a proper building

Found it - SS2 Durian

4 of us ate 3 durians (all small ones) - Musang King 1.2kg @ MYR30/kg, Red Prawn (HongHar) 1kg @ MYR16/kg and a durian with pale thick flesh and very small seeds (I did not catch its name) 1.3kg @ MYR20/kg and my friend gave us all a treat - MYR78 in total.

    1. They don't do like this in Kuching? Here it is quite common to have tables and chairs at durian stalls,

    1. The texture of durian flesh is not the same as jackfruit at all. Hope you get to taste it someday.

  9. Wow, that's about RM25 a durian...money well spent if you love durians, I suppose. I'm afraid I don't eat durians so I wouldn't know the names of the good species.

  13. I just found out about the move last weekend. I love durians! There's a van at Taman Tun Dr Ismail that parks in front of Maybank. They were selling Musang King at RM22 per kg.

  14. And I thought they are famous for their durian buffet. Guess it's no longer a buffet now that they've relocated?

  15. I was taken to a place in Cheras where there were a few stalls long the road side 2 days ago. There were tables and chairs with even water for washing hands. Its a first time for me. In Ipoh we do not have the tables and chairs for customers to eat at the stalls.
