Banana Baked with Honey

My friend went to Thailand for the long weekend and brought home boxes of these snacks and gave me a few packs.

One pack gives 30 kilocalories according to the packaging.

There are two slices of baked banana coated with honey inside a pack.

Sticky and sweet - energy food I guess.

  1. Can bake one's own, I guess. These days, the fritters with cheese seem very popular.

    1. No, I seldom eat Nutella as I find that too sweet for my liking.

  6. My fruit blend occasionally have these 2 ingredients too, banana and honey. But looking at them like this as a snack makes me feel like they are very fattening! @.@

  7. Oh dear, I can just imagine the amount of preservatives they use to keep this from going bad as bananas perish quickly :(

    1. But the packaging says no preservatives!

  10. This reminds me of smoked bananas (pisang salai) that is quite popular in Johor. I tried that once but did not like the smokey taste. The one you have is probably nicer.

    1. Not sure whether it is nicer than your smoked ones or not but this one definitely did not have that smokey taste.

    1. Actually not that sweet but sweet nevertheless. According to the packaging, only 30 kilocalories to burn. Good to eat this before running a marathon.
