Could not resist

When my spouse sees this dish - Chinese Style Minced Pork Patty, he will select it.

When I see this dish - Chinese Style Pork "Chop", I will select it.

These two plates of "mixed" rice cost MYR12 in total.

I like eating the Chee Cheong Fun here so although I am eating "mixed" rice, I took a little rice and ordered a plate of ccf "kosong" (with nothing added to it) - MYR1.60 - to eat with my "mixed" rice and the combination tastes delicious to me.

This is the corner shop - Friendship Cafe (not really a true cafe but just a normal Chinese Coffee Shop) at Taman Esplanad, Bukit Jalil.

  2. I'm like you AND your hubby too! :)

I'll choose the sweet and sour pork chop and I choose the minced pork too. I also like the herbal chicken drumstick and braised pork. Steamed fish also if there's some but that's more of a treat since fish is always expensive.

  4. I'd have both meat - yours and your hubby's...and your hubby's mixed beans - I see ladies' finger and four-angle beans...and long beans. I like that dish! How much, my platter?

  5. I know you like the meat, but I was thinking how yummy all of those veggies look.

  6. hahaha, minced meat and pork chop!! i actually like them too, though i won't say i "must" take them into my plate.. anyway, my usual "practice" when having chap fan is: less rice, 1 meat, 1 veggie/bean, 1 tofu/egg.. so it's like a little bit of everything though i would not say that is balanced, hahaha!!

  7. chee cheong fun?? actually i am not a fans of that.. when i eat CCF, i actually don't even ask for the CCF but just all the "liu".. then i will ask for just a little bit of oil and soy sauce, with sesame and browned shallots.. sometimes if i tabao, i will drizzle my own olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and that's my version.. hehehehe!!

    1. So normally you don't eat rice or you eat rice but no meat and less veg?

  11. I hardly take that minced pork coz.... so easy to make it myself hehe. Same reason I hardly take baked beans, luncheon meat slices, fried egg.

    1. Wow you are so pro - can make minced pork patty as easily as making baked beans.

    2. Same category la... but of course pork patty has higher difficulty level than baked beans. :p

    3. I would say much higher difficulty especially if you mince the pork yourself instead of buying ready made minced pork.

  13. My hubby also likes minced pork patty (with salted fish though). I don't think I can eat CCF kosong...it would be quite tasteless!
