When my spouse sees this dish - Chinese Style Minced Pork Patty, he will select it.
When I see this dish - Chinese Style Pork "Chop", I will select it.
These two plates of "mixed" rice cost MYR12 in total.
I like eating the Chee Cheong Fun here so although I am eating "mixed" rice, I took a little rice and ordered a plate of ccf "kosong" (with nothing added to it) - MYR1.60 - to eat with my "mixed" rice and the combination tastes delicious to me.
This is the corner shop - Friendship Cafe (not really a true cafe but just a normal Chinese Coffee Shop) at Taman Esplanad, Bukit Jalil.
i like minced pork patty too! both plates suits my selection, although i prefer minced pork patty more...yumzz!
ReplyDeleteMinced pork 1
DeleteI'm like you AND your hubby too! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll choose the sweet and sour pork chop and I choose the minced pork too. I also like the herbal chicken drumstick and braised pork. Steamed fish also if there's some but that's more of a treat since fish is always expensive.
Yes fish is always more expensive.
DeleteI would choose minced pork too.. I like minced pork from young.. Any minced pork, like steamed egg with minced pork, minced pork with tung choi.. Nice to eat with rice, yummnzzz...
ReplyDeleteMinced pork 2!
DeleteI'd have both meat - yours and your hubby's...and your hubby's mixed beans - I see ladies' finger and four-angle beans...and long beans. I like that dish! How much, my platter?
ReplyDeleteI would say MYR7 to 8.
DeleteI know you like the meat, but I was thinking how yummy all of those veggies look.
ReplyDeleteI like the veggies too.
Deletehahaha, minced meat and pork chop!! i actually like them too, though i won't say i "must" take them into my plate.. anyway, my usual "practice" when having chap fan is: less rice, 1 meat, 1 veggie/bean, 1 tofu/egg.. so it's like a little bit of everything though i would not say that is balanced, hahaha!!
ReplyDelete1 meat is what meat?
Deletechee cheong fun?? actually i am not a fans of that.. when i eat CCF, i actually don't even ask for the CCF but just all the "liu".. then i will ask for just a little bit of oil and soy sauce, with sesame and browned shallots.. sometimes if i tabao, i will drizzle my own olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and that's my version.. hehehehe!!
ReplyDeleteCcf with liao but no ccf is not ccf lah. Lol! :D
DeleteI prefer your veges + your spouse's minced pork patty, hahaha..
ReplyDeleteKosong CCF? That's just like kosong hor fun, isn't it?
Hor fun is more springy, ccf is softer.
Deletewah Bukit jalil so many things to eat already. nice
ReplyDeleteYes. The links also got eateries.
DeleteBoth plates of mixed rice look yummy to me...To enjoy all the meat and veg.. I will have to minus the rice from my plate...
ReplyDeleteSo normally you don't eat rice or you eat rice but no meat and less veg?
DeleteI hardly take that minced pork coz.... so easy to make it myself hehe. Same reason I hardly take baked beans, luncheon meat slices, fried egg.
ReplyDeleteWow you are so pro - can make minced pork patty as easily as making baked beans.
DeleteSame category la... but of course pork patty has higher difficulty level than baked beans. :p
DeleteI would say much higher difficulty especially if you mince the pork yourself instead of buying ready made minced pork.
DeleteI would prefer the the Chinese Style Pork Chops :)
ReplyDeletePork chop 1!
DeleteMy hubby also likes minced pork patty (with salted fish though). I don't think I can eat CCF kosong...it would be quite tasteless!
ReplyDeleteEating ccf kosong can truly differentiate the best from the good.
DeleteI go for the minced meat. ^^ my favourite.
ReplyDeleteMinced meat 4!
DeleteI would like the Chinese Style Pork Chops. :)
ReplyDeletePork chop 2!
Deletedelicious. my favourite. chap fann.
