On Thursday 18.june.2026, I woke up at 2.30 am so at 6.48 am, we went to Thong Kee Sri Petaling which opens at 7 am. But when we reached there at a little after 7 am, we still had to queue and wait for seats but just a short wait compared to reaching there at 7.30 am.

He also ordered the usual soft boiled eggs MYR 3.60+, kaya butter toasts MYR 3.20+ and instead of cham, he chose hot white coffee less sugar this time MYR 4.20+ but the white coffee tastes like 3-in-1 premixed white coffee which is very sweet so I didn't drink much of it.

On Wednesday 17.june.2026, he found a pork noodles shop in PJ to try as it was a public holiday so we went there early at 7.30 am. After that we went to uptown to eat chicken at Say Yes Cafe and fish at Red Kettle.

PH is absolutely right, this dish is delicious 😋 

and the portion is not big so I can finish it although I have eaten 2 meals before this 😂 

I can smell the grana padano cheese grated on top of this dish when it arrives at the table. I guess customers who don't eat cheese can request beforehand to omit this cheese but I like the taste of this cheese 😋 

The broccoli 🥦 could be softer though. I didn't expect it to be creamed corns as the base until I read the description in the menu.

10.52 am - I ordered classic pork chop MYR 31.90++ for him although he says he is still very full. He ate everything except for 3 wedges of 🥔 potatoes which I ate. One hot long black MYR 14.90++ to share. Total MYR 102.90 nett.

Smoked Salmon Salad

On Tuesday 16.june.2026, we planned to go to MyTown mall at 10.30 am but we were up early at 6 am so we decide to go to Yitcha Kaw Kaw for breakfast before going to MyTown.

2.02 pm - I ordered Smoked salmon salad MYR 33++ The 3 big slices of smoked salmon are rolled up, he ate one roll and I ate two rolls. Taste good not salty, just the right level of smokiness. The spinach and long beans are fresh and crispy. Ok to order this salad again next time. 😋 

2.07 am - I ordered fish and chips MYR 32++ for him. Two large pieces of deep fried battered fish pieces.

2.25 pm - my portion.

The deep fried batter is crispy and the fish meat is flaky white so everything looks tasty but when I ate them, I detected a slight mild ammonia taste so I had to eat everything with the chili and tartar sauce to try to cover the mild unpleasant taste. Glad to say I ate everything and was ok.

That slight mild ammonia taste could be due to the type of fish not being processed immediately when caught such as stingrays or it could be due to crispy Ammonium Bicarbonate Fish Batter recipe not executed properly.

We also ordered one cold long black MYR 10++ to share. Total MYR 87.00 nett.

On Monday 15.june.2026, we went out early for food because we want to get back in time to do gardening as the local council truck today is to collect gardening disposal and the truck could appear anytime after 10 am. For today, we noticed that the truck collected 3 piles of garden disposal from us at 12.50 noon.

We reached Thong Kee Sri Petaling at 7.30 am but there was already a long queue so we walked to Nasi Lemak burung hantu. After that at 8.13 am we went to Nam Heong pinnacle condo and placed one order for breakfast set but it seems that the kitchen wasn't ready yet so at 8.30 am, we wouldn't wait anymore so we cancelled our order and went home to do gardening.

On Sunday 14.june.2026, the mission is to try McD's coleslaw and mashed potatoes launched on Friday 12june2026 so we went to Midvalley mall.

10.37 am - I like the taste of both. The coleslaw is a little more salty than sweet and the cabbage are sliced very thinly so it makes it easy to eat, very 👍 good. 😋 

The mashed potatoes are dense and a little bit more sticky than fluffy mashed potatoes so I like it too. Both portions are small, even I find the portion to be small so hope they can be more.

10.47 am - double fish fillets with a little bit of tartar sauce. 😋 

10.25 am - I ordered two sets:

2 original fried chicken+potato+coleslaw MYR 17.03 and upgraded the soft drink to iced strawberry latte by adding MYR 4.34

Double filet fish burger MYR 17.12 and changed the soft drink to hot milk tea aka teh tarik -9 cents and forgot to customize it to be less sweet so both of us found this drink to be way too sweet so after he drank some I poured the remaining milk tea into my strawberry latte, took it home and put into the freezer.

I chose apple pie instead of fries.

After that went to mrdiy to buy a rake and a brush.

3.08 pm - after the strawberry latte + milk tea has become frozen, I ate them as ice shavings
