On Sunday 27.nov.2022, went to Taman Desa as usual to buy chapfan lunch and for chapfan dinner, went to 126 Mixed Rice Sri Petaling.
5.20 pm - pistachios MYR 3.20 as snack. Do you like to eat pistachios?
12.28 noon - chapfan lunch no rice MYR 13 from Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop:
1. Two braised eggs
2. One steamed chicken drumstick
3. Napa cabbage
4. Pumpkin
5. Cauliflower celery
6. Stirfry eggs with bitter gourd
He bought a pack of chapfan no rice and 3jc soup mihun for the Elderlies.
5.10 pm - his chapfan no rice dinner of mantis prawns and some vege. 3 packs of chapfan MYR 19 for the Elderlies and himself. It was drizzling so there are not many people in 126 mixed rice eatery so he thinks they charged him lower than previously due to the rain.
My Jay's favourite nut!! Must buy for him during CNY. Haha.
ReplyDeleteTuck Tuck Tei must be your favourite chap fan place. Noticed you bought a lot from here. Actually the dishes looked good and healthier.
Can eat pistachios as snack all year round. Once a week we buy chapfan from them because their price is the best and their dishes taste fine.
DeleteWe love pistachio nuts but removing the shells is tedious. The chap fan dishes look good.
ReplyDeleteMost shells have been cracked widely open. Those that are not are those shells that are difficult to remove. Alternative is to buy pistachios without any shells, the shells have been totally removed.
DeleteI'm lazy to have to peel the shells from pistachio. Would rather pop nuts into my mouth without needing both hands to peel. The nut itself I like if it's crunchy.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, ya, better if just direct pop into mouth. Can buy pistachios without shells.
