On Saturday 7.feb.2026, went to Midvalley mall to buy a tabletop fan 98 so ate 2 meals there. As it is near CNY, the malls are having lion dance performances.

On the way back, stopped by Taman Desa and ate early dinner at Kopiholic.

9.09 am - He ordered nasi lemak chicken curry, soft boiled eggs and hot coffee. I ate some of the nasi lemak chicken curry. Total MYR 35 nett.

10.09 am - juicy, light 🍊 taste, mild sweetness, membrane skin not as thin as red beauty. I ate one immediately after buying a box of 15 🍊 

10.10 am - a box of 15 🍊 3.2 kg at MYR 53.90 nett which is a promo price.

6.16 pm - 14 harumi 🍊 because I ate one immediately after buying them.

12.24 noon - since there is 10% off so ordered a hot black coffee MYR 4.50 and chocolate banana cake MYR 13.80 which he says is buttery after eating one bite so I finished it.

After buying the fan, we received a MYR 5 voucher off any items excluding supermarket items so we bought these 2 microwavable Stainless steel containers MYR 49.90 nett and paid MYR 44.90 after using the voucher.

I don't dare to use it in a microwave even though it says it is microwavable not more than 5 minutes without the cover.

2.06 pm - the price tag shown here today is MYR 53.90 nett but the price when we bought it last year was MYR 109.55 nett so what's going on?

We didn't check with the cashier whether or not the price tag is correct or not.

Lamb Shank Biryani

On Friday 28.nov.2025, I requested to go to Pavilion Bukit Jalil to eat the lamb shank.

11.59 am - the drink is a glass of hot teh tarik masala less sweet MYR 5.90++ with exotic spices taste and a strong taste of cardamon.

The dish with the raw onion rings contains half a cross section piece of deep fried tenggiri aka Spanish mackerel fish MYR 8.90++ 

I ordered Bamboo Lamb Shank biryani rice MYR 54.90++ served with non veg salna curry in a small bowl and onion raita in a small bowl.

The whole lamb shank and biryani rice are placed inside a section of bamboo like the photo below:

Then the staff will pour out the biryani rice together with lamb shank from the bamboo tube onto the plate.

12.02 noon - the lamb shank is meaty with the meat tender and falling off the bone. The biryani rice is very flavourful with various spices.

12.36 noon - I ate all the meat and took half the rice home. Delicious 🤤 with big portion enough for two pax.

12 noon - I also ordered two types of vadai:

Medhu vadai MYR 6.90++

Donut rings soft inside crisp outside made from urad dal, spices and curry leaves.

Parippu vadai MYR 6.90++ 

Deep fried snacks made from chana dal, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt.

We shared one type each and took 4 home.

Very tasty 😋 so will order these vadai again.
