We reached this eatery at 11.30 am but it was still doing preparation activities and the shuttles were half opened so we went to Luckee eatery a few shops away to eat his breakfast and then at 12.20 noon, go back to this Ha Er Bin eatery for brunch.

There are affordable set lunch meals with a meat dish, soup, rice and appetiser but we ordered from the ala carte menu because we don't want to eat rice, just want to try out the meat items.

12.30 noon - Dong Po Rou MYR 23.80+

The marinate has a bit of herbal taste. I ate one piece including all the wobbly fats and he ate the remaining 3 pieces.

Next time we will try the big slices pork belly and pork trotter.

12.31 noon - minced meat ball with one duck egg yolk called lion's head MYR 16.80+

Taste ok, the duck egg yolk is not salty at all.

12.29 noon - we ordered one egg each at MYR 2.80+ each and one plate of pork ribs MYR 21.80+ which is marinated with dark soy sauce.

12.31 noon - I ordered 4 chives meat Sui gao and 4 cabbages meat Sui gao. Total MYR 12+

12.34 noon - cross section. Taste ok. I prefer the chives Sui gao.

11.46 am - his order of noodles with two items which he chose to be daikon and duck blood cubes. One iced coffee.

11.57 am - I ate this remaining portion of noodles. The daikon tastes very good 👍 😋

1.53 pm - when back, I ate rainbows sprouted grains bread with the remaining half avocado 🥑 that he kept for me before closing my Omad.

On Friday 30.aug.2024, went to midvalley mall because he told me Lapisan Patisserie is having a buy 3 get the 4th lowest priced item free pastry promotion for merdeka celebrations.

11.58 am - I selected 4 sweet pastries even though there are savoury pastries. Also bought 1 hot black coffee without sugar MYR 8.20 nett.

11.58 am - the promo, select any 4 pastries, pay for 3 and get the lowest priced pastry free:

1. Hazelnut chocolate pastry MYR 15 nett

2. Almond croissant 🥐 MYR 14.45 nett

3. 2 x peach danish MYR 14.10 nett so I get one peach danish free because it is the lowest priced item

12.13 noon - there are quite a lot of hazelnut chocolate spread inside the pastry for hazelnut chocolate pastry.

12.24 noon - at the bottom layer of the almond croissant, there is almond paste.

12.09 noon - below the syrup glazed peach, there is a layer of sweet creamy paste.

12.35 noon - I don't know whether the 1st peach pastry I ate has this thin bottom layer of i-m-not-sure-is-what so I didn't eat it but I ate everything of the 1st peach pastry.

All the pastries use good butter that is suitable for the majority because the butter taste is just nice, not very strong. Very crunchy and crispy with paste fillings inside so the target customers have very sweet tooth.

11.46 am - go Noodle House Midvalley Mall next to temple street eatery. He chose to eat here so he ordered all the items and I just ate his remaining food.

11.28 am - all the items he chose. I like the big amount of vege in the bowl. Lard oil is used to mix the noodles. He ordered a cold drink called Ho Kar Sai MYR 8++ and the main taste turned out to be Milo.

Iced Curry Noodles

On Thursday 29.aug.2024, went to eat brunch at million ocean but parked in front of a new eatery Ming Hin so changed venue to eat at Ming Hin.

*** Frozen Curry Wanton Mi ***

After our brunch, I went home to clear food from freezer and fridge. Yesterday we ordered small but was given large by mistake so we took the remaining curry noodles home and put it in our freezer.

11.16 am - the frozen curry wanton noodles.

11.31 am - I directly ate the frozen curry broth with the noodles in the ice. Taste quite good, refreshingly cold. ❄️ Though the salty taste is enhanced when icy cold.

10.12 am - the frozen remaining curry wanton noodles from yesterday's Yitcha Kaw Kaw Sri Petaling.

1.10 pm - then I also ate the remaining half bursting kaya puff and remaining half salted egg yolk lotus pastry from Tuesday 27.aug.2024, 2 days ago.

1.16 pm - he ate early dinner at lunch time, diy 2 fried eggs, 2 pieces of bread below the 1 piece of minced meat bakwa.

8.38 am - I ordered trotter vinegar rice MYR 19.90 and he ordered mixed pork noodles small MYR 10.90 and a small cup of hot coffee MYR 2.6 

The soup for pork noodles is boiled with anchovies so is not a bone broth.

The trotter tastes good 😊 sweet, sour and a bit salty. I drank all the sweet, sour, salty vinegar gravy and ate all the rice.

Total price MYR 33.40 nett.

Bottomless Noodles

On Wednesday 28.aug.2024, went again to Yitcha Kaw Kaw because I want to eat the thin toasts Kaya butter again.

9.08 am - we ordered a small portion of curry noodles but they mistakenly send us a big portion even though the printed order slip states small portion which after sending us the big portion, they changed the order to a big portion so we paid the price for the big portion. The big portion price is MYR 15.90++

I like the big pieces of cabbages in this bowl of curry noodles. We chose wanton noodles.

9.45 am - I tried and tried to eat all the noodles but the noodles seem to be never ending so I had to bring it home.

9.59 am - there is so much noodles that it almost fill up the container from home. Straight into the freezer it went.

9.10 am - we ordered breakfast set A again with thin toasts butter kaya, eggs and signature white coffee MYR 10.90++

9.05 am - he added on a 5-piece item soup MYR 6.90++

I bought one curry puff MYR 3.60++ and ate it all by myself.

9.09 am - I ordered a glass of iced cham MYR 5++ which by default they put all cold drinks in takeaway containers so I took it home as well as I was full. Total MYR 49.05 nett inclusive of 6% SST and 10% service charge.

On Tuesday 27.aug.2024, went to Yitcha Kaw Kaw Sri Petaling for brunch because he saw a promo that the usual MYR 11.90++ shredded chicken hor fun soup is having a promo at MYR 5++ only.

9.13 am - I saw an new item on the menu so I ordered it - duck leg noodles herbal soup MYR 18.90++ I like the taste of the thin springy egg noodles and the duck leg meat and so I drank all the herbal soup to the last drop. Will order it again.

9.08 am - this is the shredded chicken hor fun soup promo price MYR 5++ when the usual price is MYR 11.90++ for a small portion and MYR 12.90++ for a large portion. I ate his remaining Hor fun. Tastes good 😋 

9.17 am - a set of eggs, signature coffee Kaw Kaw, toasts MYR 10.90++

I like the crispy thin toasts kaya butter so will order it again.

9.05 am - I ordered 4 pastries:

Tasty so will order again

Too little salted egg so won't order again

The location is opposite TK Bakery Sri Petaling and a few shops away from TK Bakery is a shop that sells Hock Moon Hoong bakwa so we crossed the road and bought 600 g for him, about MYR 62. With so many eateries with Kaw Kaw in the name, he nearly went to Pakkopi Kaw Kaw opposite pinnacle condo.

On Monday 26.aug.2024, went to Pavilion Bukit Jalil and then 10 Kopitiam at Jalil Link.

This eatery just started a few days ago so now it is having a few items on promotion. Get a foc bowl of red ruby dessert when joining the community chat group.

11.19 am - this is the bowl of foc red ruby dessert which is sweet and cold with creamy coconut milk.

The toast is crispy on the outside and salty so it goes well with the sweet pandan dip.

11.30 am - same bowl of red ruby as we only joined the community group chat once.

Steamed Hainan bread with Thai tea milk dip MYR 4.25+ after 50% off MYR 8.50+

The bread is soft and fluffy. The dip is passable, can't really detect any unique taste, just sweet and creamy.

11.23 am - he ordered this breakfast set of minced meat with toast egg and coffee O MYR 16.90+

I requested for no chili padi in the minced meat.

He ordered fried L size drumstick MYR 12.90++

4.11 pm - he also ordered this bowl of signature mee pok with deep fried lard cubes MYR 10.90++, some cubes are crispy and some cubes are not crispy. I ate all of the remaining mee pok for him.

4.14 pm - I ordered mushroom sauce pan fried pork chop MYR 18.90++

The pork chop is more on the lean side which I like. There are many slices of mushrooms in the sauce which I ate. Same drink as we ordered only one drink.
